I cant think practically when it comes to geet i can not see it just as a serial and its ending no i cant, guys pls keep calling so and request on fb's of so, sd ,geet, sbb , sbs pls

And we even saw snatches of that with that client at the beginning of the ML track. It was also clear pretty early on that Maan came from a very broken family which, like you said, is a rarity on Indian TV. Even I had never seen such a representation (though it's not like I have tons of experience) and contrary to most matriarchs, Dadi was trying to unite her family rather than separate them as is usually the case.

And if we are starting this discussion about why Geet was amazing, here is my favourite. I loved how Geet was characterised as a modern Indian girl. She had her whole world yanked out from under her feet and had to start from scratch, starting from how to know the difference between right and wrong. She didn't reject tradition entirely just because one aspect of it had let her down so badly (ie the honour thing) and embrace a crazy, liberal lifestyle, but she allowed herself to make her own decisions now about what was the right thing for her, based only on her own internal compass. And here is the best part, she adapted to a new life and became good at living on her own terms. It wasn't easy but she worked hard, used her brains and learned how to be a woman of the world in her own unique way, which is also what made Maan fall in love with her, I think.

This is what made her so wonderfully relatable. Yes, she came from a small town but she spoke some English and knew how to use a computer and what she didn't know she learned because she had to. This is how girls are nowadays and I am sure how they want to see themselves portrayed: brave, enterprising and adaptable. Geet was not shoved into the stereotype of a "traditional girl" nor was she modern in the cliched sense. She formed a beautiful balance of both, which is what most girls really are anyway.

@sam its a bad bad day bad news everywer, i had holiday today so i am in fb requesting for geet continuation and calling starone:-[

Bru iam seeing everybody's comments not neglecting. Iam a bit nervous bcz of the show thing and after one hour iam going to have a small surgery in my right hand.
