Opti - despite the show loosing its initial charm, it will always be remembered for many firsts. It is not like I watch a lot of other shows, but I can still vouch that the comfort and chemistry the leads share will be one of a kind. Even yesterday, the way Maan came from behind Geet and hugged her... I can imagine my husband doing that to me and just like that too... so natural.

Nish, I think we should still continue to open den's everyday just for all of us to catch up. What say?

Yes, Priti. The show had many firsts and what can I say about Maaneet chemistry except 'La jawab'!

The absence of a strong story inspite of having so many options, was the main downfall for the show. Hope we had got to see the unravelling of Maan's mysterious and apparently bitter childhood, the Sam angle, the Vicky factor and more importantly Geet complete her education and become an independent career woman with the help of Maan. Now that would have made this a complete show and the theme with which it was started (women empowerment) would have been fulfilled.

Opti - what we need right now is a good FF from you based on Maneet. Can u give us one and not disappoint us like the channel and PH have done? 😛

Prithi, I've given up writing fics. My brain is as dead as the show.

@Opti: If they don't bring back his memory in a better way, I guess we will have to accept that that was it and Geet didn't blink an eye because his memory didn't matter to her one way or another now that he loves her as much as before. GHSP has taught me to justify anything to myself. 😆

And I completely agree with you. The story stagnated, the leads were sidelined and the show was treated like an undesired orphan BUT they never ruined it. Maaneet's love always remained pure and without the slightest trace of doubt between the two leads. This clarity between two lovers is something I will always cherish. And even after marriage, though the story was only good in very few spurts, there have been some excellent stand alone scenes and moments that have even shown snatches of a beautiful marriage between two passionate lovers.

A big chunk of this credit goes to Barry for his beautiful dialogues, which have kept the characterisation on a more or less even keel, where he tries his best to keep the logic alive. I still remember how much I appreciated when he talked about the ML when the story was focused on the circus marital problems. Thank god for those members of the team who took responsibility to keep the characters somewhat consistent. And now again, it is him who is suggesting the return of memory. I just hope they use it because the return of Maan's memory could be a wonderful way to reminisce and end what has been a beautiful journey.
