Chapter 24

Every thing had been changed.Pammi changed lives of many.Who was responsible ? Addi…Pinky ? or Geet herself that she dared to make relation lov wth Maan .But it was destiny.Geet might hav forgotten her past when she found Maan .But reality couldn't b changed ..happiness couldn't come to Geet's door steps.

She was leying without any reaction. emotion…Doctor asked Rano…try to make her cry.But nothing happened…Her child was in danger coz her life was in danger.Leela n Rano tried to recall many incidents in front of Geet so that it could became a reason to bring her back to reality.They failed

On the other hand Inspector asked Addi many baseless n senseless questions jst for time pass.When he got a call that mission was a success .He let Addi go.Addi felt relieved after leaving Police staton.But he was not aware what gonna happen wth him at village.He had become guilty in every eye.

Addi reached village .Same lady Sarla who met at first meeting…noticed him coming n she started to shout aloud.

Sarla: Aab kya lene aaye ho…u hav done what u want..kahi tumhara saaman to nahi reh gaya yaha( she held him from color)

Addi: Manji yeh aap kya kar rahi hai…leave me…what u wanna say I can't understand.( he pushed her lil bit)

Sarla: Samjh nahi aati..Geet ki zindgi barbaad kar di tumne….tum to girgit se bhi aagay nikle..Girgit to rang badlta hai ..sabko patta hai..tumhare rang to koi dekh he nahi paaya…( she jerked )

Addi: Kya kia hai maine…jo aap yahan beech bazaar mujhe rok kar kaddi hai..

Sarla: Aao sabh yahan aa jayo…isko kush nahi patta isne kya kiya hai…(her voice was enough to gather crowd around)

Addi :Dekhiye main police station se aa raha hu…mujhe bulaya tha…jab sabh ho gaya main aa gaya.( Addi shouted ..he was rite)

Sham : Jab sabh ho gaya…theek he kaha..pehle police ko bhej diya wo jabrdasti Jija g ko utha le gayi….kyonki apko patta tha yahan k log apko yeh sabh nahi karne dengay….Meri Geet didi ka ek baar bhi nahi socha…tumne….wo to yahan thi he nahi…pathar baan gayi hai wo ..kaise jiye-gi aab ( he started to sob)

Addi: dekho tum logon ko galat fahmi (confusion by mistake)ho gayi hai..mujhe police station statement k liye bulaya tha…main ek aam sa insaan hu…aur meri pahunch itni nahi k police meri help karre.Aur kon le gaya Maan Sir ko …( he was worried )

Rajan ( Rahul's brother): Kon le gaya yeh to hum tum se pushte hai…us bechari ladki ki haalat dekhi hai…jisme itni himmat nahi hogi k raat ko ghar se bhi bahar nikle…us ladki ne saari biraadri ka virodh kar ke….Maan ko apnaya zindgi di.. mujhe kehte hue bhi jhijk( to hesitate) hoti hai..usne kiya …ek aurat ki puri seema par kar de..aab jab wo Maan k bachchy ko jaman denne waali thi..tumne usse he nahi us bachchay se bhi jindgi sheen le .( he came in front of Addi lik wanna kil him)

Addi: Mujhe kush nahi patta maine nahi kiya kush...kyo karunga main aisa...jab mujhe patta hai Maan Sir Geet ko pyar karte hai..apni patni mante hai….

Rahul came when his brother called him at Shimla..this morning n at this time he reached...where crowd had been questioning Addi.Without waiting for a minute He started to beat Addi with cruality many other people also started to beat him.Addi had severe injuries on his forhead body n his spects had been broken..

When Rano heard this ..wthout letting Geet knew she came n stopped people.

Addi: Manji maine kush nahi kiya..kaise hua kyo hua mujhe nahi patta…? ( Rano saved him n he started to prove him )

Rano: mujhe patta tha yahi hoga..meri Geet k sath…Per uska kaaran tum banne …why I trusted u …jo honna tha ho gaya…mujhe aab aur tamasha nahi banana apni bachi ka..per jaate jaate is Maa ki bad--duya…lette jayo…meri bachi ki kushi sheen kar tum bhi kabhi khush nahi reh payogay.( she had no emotions on her face n jst lik a statue)

Rahul: Massi aise kaise chod de isko….Police nahi iska faisla hum karegay…( he shouted n held him)

Rano: Nahi Rahul jaane do…isko…yeh jab bhi sochega k humne isko chod diya tha...Iski aatma isko pal pal maaregi….( she stopped)

Addi looked at all.He moved some staps backward n left place wth eyes filled wth tears.But where to go at this time.It was about end of the day.

He had nothing coz every thing was left in village.He had some money….So he could do one thing only.He called Pinky's cousin ..n she arranged texi for him .Which Addi got about eight at nite.n when Addi reached Shimla it was eleven.He was not in position to think what had happened.

Pinky was informed by her sister about Addi return ...so Pinky called Addi when he reached at her sister's home.

Addi :Pinky mujhe abhi tak nahi samjh aa rahi hua kya

(he told ever thing in detail what happened)

Pinky: But I know Addi Sir what's reason.

Addi: What ?

Pinky : When u phoned me Pammi Aunty over heard it.( n she told every thing )

Addi: Itna gir sakti hai Pammi ?( he shouted hearing this )

Pinky : Addi Sir I called u even at number of that PCO…nothing worked.n she warned me for serious outcomes agar main kissi ko batati..apka intzaar kar rahi hu .aap aa jaayea kya karna hai hum sochte hai.( she gav suggestion which was only possibility )

Addi: theek hai.

Next day

Pammi had shifted Maan in a hospital till her next mov.She called Pinky.coz she knew Addi n Pinky would creat problem for her.

Pinky : Hello Pammi Aunty.

Pammi: Pinky mujhe patta hai..Addi ll contact u ..before telling others.

Pinky: Pammi Aunty Addi Sir ne mujhe contact nahi kiya aur kahan hai mujhe nahi patta.( she tried to hide)

Paami: Pinky bano mat ..aur ha…jab Addi aaye to sidhe mujhe aa kar millo…Mom ko ya mere bte ko batane ki koshishh ki to uska result dangerous hoga…Maan ki jaan bhi jaa sakti hai…aur kisi ko patta bhi nahi chalega.kyonki wo kahan hai sirf mujhe patta hai…(she laughed )

Pinky : Nahi Pammi Aunty jaise hi Addi Sir mujhe contact karte hai main apse milne aati hu…plz Maan Sir ko kush mat karna ( she begged)

Pammi: that's good what u hav to do..I ll tell u ..

N she disconnected.

Addi reaced Delhi n Pinky told him every thing so for Maan they had to shut their mouths.till next plan.

Pinky n Addi reached same hospital where Pammi admitted Maan.

Addi: Pammi ji aap kyo kar rahi hai aisa…us ladki ne kya bigaada hai apka aur Maan Sir woh to theek ho rahhe thay.( he tried to change her mind)

Pammi: Dekha maine kaise theek ho rahhe hai Maan…kya haal hai unka….tumko wahi karna hoga jo main chaahati hu..

Maan n Geet both in same condition. Speechless creatures stautes having lif mind n heart but not to think to feel…Their lives depend upon others now..Geet's condition was not good n here Pammi was in action...what to do next.

Addi was much scared what she was upto.When She was disclosing her plan

Addi : Sidhy sidhy jo hai wo kahiye…Maan Sir k liye hum kissi bhi had takk ja sakte hai ..( he was irritated on her )

Pammi: Nahi nahi main itni bhi khudgarj nahi…k saara credit khud le lu.Suno tume kya karna hai.

Addi ko Maan ka beg milla that's rite.n I came to know about it.So I asked Addi to search areas where this bag was found.I helped Addi asking my friends there in same area.

Addi ne jhoot bol kar leave sanction karvai..so that reality jaane binna..k bag waha kaise milla.Daddi Maa I mean Maa ko dukh na ho…agar Maan ki khabar na milti.Issi liye jhoot bolna padda.

Jab Addi tumhe kush sabut mille main wahan pahunch gayi..Maan bhi mil gaye..Per jin logon ne Maan ki jaan bachai..un logo ne isliye yeh sabh kiya taaki unko paisa mil sakke.Maan k badle.isliye maine 10 lakh rupees diye unko.Per jab unko patta challa k kitne rich hai hum ..they refused to giv back Maan.By using force main unko yahan le aayi.

Pammi:Its non of ur business jo kaha wo karo ...bas main us ladka ka jikar tumhari jubaan per Khuraanas k samne nahi chahti...samjhe tum .Bas Itna samjh lo main yeh prove karna chahti hu k main bhi Maan se bahut pyar karti hu ...Main Maan ko koi nuksaan nahi pahucha sakti..usne mera kabhi kaha nahi modda ( never said no).Per yaad rakhna agar tumhari jubaan khuli...Maan ko kush hogga to nahi..per uski haalat improve bhi nahi hogi ..u got it . ( she blackmailed them )

Addi: Theek hai hum kush nahi kahegay...per agar Maan Sir ki health main kush bhi gadbaad hui humko bhi mazboor honna padega...aap bhi samjh lijiye.( he warned)

Pammi : Aab tum jaayo yahan se mujhe Maan ko ghar le jaane ka ..if possible intzaam karna hai..jaisa doctors kahegay..aur Ghar main kaise batana hai yeh sochna hai..zaroorat padi to tum aa janna.

Addi n Pinky left lookin at Maan from outside

Pammi went inside room.She was much happy about what she had done.

Maan ko jab main le kar gayi ghar to sabko laggy ga Maan se main bahut pyar karti hu….jo rutba main panna chahti hu wo mujhe mil jayega.

Waise bhi Maan useless hai..kamm se kamm is kaam to aaye mere..padde rahegay…apne room main or yahan waise Maan na aate to bhi business mere Dev Ka hota..aab Maan ka pata chall gaya tabb bhi business Dev ka he hogga..

Maan ki halat dekhi hai….Bus ek faida hoga Mom bhi Maan ko wapis lane ki wajah se apni property mere bachon k naam kar de i hop.(n she touched Maan's face n thought about next plan/move
