Ok can I tell you all something ..
I watch some shows from Hollywood.. they have similar situations like what we're seeing here in GHSP .. with the whole criminal on the loose type and also where the 'hero' is always at the scene even if the police isn't ..
I swear I don't ask such questions like "why aren't they calling the police" etc etc when they show it in Hollywood shows then I wonder why I should even ask here?
Bottom line is .. yea I know MSK will be smart enough to analytically brainstorm what his next step should be BUT before that we need to give Maaneet the benefit of the doubt:
1) MSK comes back from London; Geet is traumatized; neither of them know about Vikram or who he is -- they just know someone is after Geet ..
2) MSK decides to keep the party on THAT DAY.
3) In the party Vikram tries to come close to Geet; he escapes by tricking MSK -- MSK doesn't have time to think of who is after his Geet and why
4) Geet has nightmares; Vikram talks to Geet's photo; MSK takes out his frustration on the punching bag (all this has happened in the same day mind you)
5) Geet tries to cheer up; sends MSK to KC; Viks enters KM and scares Geet
6) MSK arrives back and is threatened by Vikram; MSK calls Commissioner
7) MSK goes to Viks house and trashes it; Viks is at KM and calls MSK; they have a mudfight; Geet has an inception-eque nightmare; Viks threatens to kill MSK
8) Dev is targetted and MSK goes to save him
Looking at this .. although it may seem like it's been a long time since Maaneet have physically seen Vikram .. it's only actually been 3 days ..
Can we give them the benefit of the doubt and realize that 1) we are expecting Geet to become strong way too early .. and 2) we should let Maan realize that his impulsive decision to handle situations on his own is not going to help him or Geet?
We know Viks has the upper hand right now because at every given opportunity he has successfuly separated Maaneet ... terrorized Geet .. and then eventually brought them closer -- only to be apart again the next day .. this pull/push scenario isn't working in Maaneet's favour .. because they aren't getting a proper chance to devise a plan against Vikram nor are they getting a chance to 1) become stronger (Geet) and 2) react logically (Maan)
This week has been about Maaneet coming to terms of what Vikram is like .. we have to get a character sketch of Vikram before we see Maaneet hatch plans against him. . and that's what this week provided us with didn't it?
Now that Vikram seems that he's one step closer..we can look forward to some thinking/reflection and conversation between Maaneet. .
I don't mind if Geet goes to Vikram .. even if she knows this is just a trick .. because she's only going to prove her strength to me by doing so and it'd be better if she told Maan about it .. Maan tried doing the same going to KC without telling Geet..don't worry this doesn't mean they don't trust each other .remember another word for trust is love and Maaneet love each other so why wouldn't they trust each other? Their problem is that they think way too much of the other and when they do -- emotions take over.. which isn't helping them in this scenario .. don't worry guys.. the Sher and Sherni will attack in due time!
