Geet's Room

Maan slowly entered in her room. Geet was sleeping in such a way that he couldn't see her face, came near & called her slowly…….. Geet

Geet didn't turn with closed eyes: Koun hai

Maan : It's me Maan

Geet (who was still in sleepy mood) : Maan…. Koun Maan, main nahi jaanti kisi Maan ko…

Maan was furious with her answer…let me tell her who Maan is & he loudly said rotlu…….. kabhi nahi sudharegi .

She was shocked to hear this after long time, she turn back rubbing her eyes and replied him Motu.

Both of them said at one time TUMMM yaha………

Maan was double shocked when he saw Geet coz she was none other than his Dreamgirl whom he met for the 1st time in the Mall. Both were surprised to meet after long time.

Maan : Geet I am waiting for you downstairs.

Geet : Woh mai abhi tayyar hoke aati hoon.

She was fumbling with the words & went to freshen up.

Anvita,Mrs. Handa & Mr. Handa were surprised to see Maan coming down fit & fine, they heard Geet's voice but for a little while then there was silence in her room.

Mr. Handa : Maan bte sab thik haina

Maan : Kyu? Aise kyu pooch rahe ho aap?

Mrs. Handa ; Actually Geet has habit of screaming whoever goes to wake her, that's y we asked you. I scolded Anvita also as to y she took you to Geet's room.

Maan : She is normal & told her that I am waiting for her.

While they were chatting on other topics Geet came down & sat near her Mom. Giving a cross looks to each other.

Maan : Uncle, Aunty if you don't have a problem can I take Geet for lunch & we will be back by evening.

Anvita : Oye yeh kya baat hui, I have a problem… I too want to come with you.

Mrs. Handa : Anvita, let them go alone, I need your help.

Anvita : Yeh toh galat hai…. Mom something special that's y you are sending them alone, I can smell it.

Geet who was sitting quiet till now: Something special!!!!!! what's that Mom?

Mr. Handa: Nothing Geet, Maan bte you can take her we don't have problem. Geet y don't you take him to our Farm house.

Geet : Yes Papa.

FARM HOUSE

Both of them moved around the house, last they came to backyard. There was a small pond which was neatly maintained. Both of them sat for a while & left for lunch to the same hotel where Maan was staying.

Maan : Geet you had come to Delhi 1 month ago, then y didn't you come home?

Geet: Yes I came to Delhi as it was my friend's wedding, actually I wanted to come but couldn't make it.

Maan : Ya right & one more thing when we dashed at each other at the counter your Gift packet fell down & it is with me.

Geet : ohhh I was searching for it a lot then I left it thinking that it must have been lost. Have you brought it with you??

Maan : Geet are you fine na? I mean to say how can I bring that packet with me as I didn't know you were the same girl whom I met at Mall……started laughing.

Geet (tapping on head): Me too na. I hope when I will come to Delhi, you can give me.

Maan : Is it a special gift for someone who is near to you?

Geet : Yes it is a special Gift but for someone who will be near to me till now I am Single.

Maan was happy to know that she was still single...

Maan : Geet let's to go my room, as I am leaving for Delhi tomorrow early morning, I have to do some packing.

Both of them went in a room. Geet was reading magazine & was looking at Maan the way he was packing his bag. She stopped & asked him whether she can do it. Maan told her to do so. They were talking all the way about each other's school/college days/work. It was already 8.00pm Maan called Mr. Handa & told him that they are reaching home within an hour. They were to leave the room Maan told Geet that he had to say something & made Geet stand in front of the mirror, but he was standing quietly looking at her beauty especially her eyes which had many questions.

Geet : Maan bolo na.

Maan: Geet the day I saw you, started dreaming, dreams which were never in my life, you made me to see the dreams & yes I was totally lost in your beauty. I want my DREAMGIRL to be with meFOREVER & proposed her.

Geet was shocked & surprised as she didn't expect this. Her reply was yes but the final decision has to be taken by her parents.

Flashback over back to present

ssshhh abh toh khawab dekhna bandh karo, he looked at the Gift packet & smiled, thinking what must be there & the same has to be hand over to Geet.
