@Anu: I loved your last post about the Maaneet romance. I too have never seen a show where the couple is only about each other. They didn't have a love triangle, they didn't have life-altering MUs. It has been Maaneet from the day Maan pulled her out of the water in HP and the looked at each other as he carried her back to shore. Their relationship has gone from a forbidden, secret love, to a passionate, unconventional relationship to a troubled new marriage and finally to a strong, unbreakable bond of equals.
I have never seen another show that focused so much on one relationship, without involving other parties. If anything came between Maan and Geet it was only their ego and insecurities, which were battled at each level to make their characters grow, both individually and within the relationship.
As for that Maaneet feeling. Yes, I still do get it when I watch them. It is just not as often anymore because the story doesn't support the romantic moments, or rather hasn't been for a while. But even now there are moments which make my stomach flip or make me get butterflies.
