yes...but at somepoint they loved these children...there is this book i keep picking up and reading bits and pieces of...and its about a so called honor killing in amman, jordan...and the author talks about how she remembered that she was the princess to both her father and brother...and that as soon as she reached a certain age its like they had been programmed to distance themselves...and she was no longer close to them...so where does that love go?...i don't think any of us can say i guess

maya and Sylv...there is a pakistani film based on this...where the father does not like her daughter being part of western culture...n forcefully gets her married to a guy in pakistan,,,,ok i will not type the whole story now...but i loved the way the whole story was dealt...
