My First OS on... 2nd chance in life.

GEET HANDA ' 26YRS. Delhi

BA. Graduate-French Teacher ' only a child leaving with her parents.

MAAN SINGH KHURANA ' 28 YRS. Delhi.

MD - Khurana Construction ' Bachelor.

Geet was happy as she got married to a person Mr. Maan Singh Khurana, who is well known businessman in Delhi. His friends kept him busy in some or other topics, not allowing him to go. Geet was eagerly waiting for him but he didn't turn up she went to sleep, can't sleep started thinking'. Why didn't he come, did he married me coz he only cares for me? then what about love????? He said he love me very much n all goes in her mind thinking about this, she went to her flashback'.

FLASHBACK.

Geet happy going living her life full on was a BA Graduate with a French language.

She was working with an institute as a French teacher and used to called Manager ' Karan Mehra as Veerji.(He was like a family member). She was engaged to Mohit Jaiswal, who is working in Infosys ' Bangalore & comes to meet her alternate weekend.

Only one month left for her marriage, preparations started in full swing. She was on cloud 9. Her friends started teasing her, she became a 😍😍 ' As days were passing 15 days before her marriage they received a call about his accident. Everything was scattered, after hearing this news her mother got a severe attack & in that she passed away. Thinking of him a lot the dreams they saw together, promises they made to each other, she went to dumbshell never went out of the house, she was in 😲😲 this state for a month. Even Karan used to tell her to join the Institute again but fails. Her father too was depressed losing his wife n can't see Geet in this state, tried to console her but no hopes.

A month later her close friend Ritu who settled in Singapore came to India with her hubby on his business tour'. She came to know from her mother about Geet & decided to meet her very next day.

At Geet's Home:

Ritu: looking at Geet, she can't control her tears & gave a hug.

Geet: Tum kab aayi???

Ritu : Kal hi, mom ne bataya'.(Before meeting Geet, Ritu met her father n told her to console her)

Ritu : Geet zindagi pal do pal ki hai jaisi khusiya aati hai chali bhi jaati hai, par kab tak aise udaas rahogi? Just look at your dad, he lost his partner due this news, and you being only person in his life who can help him to come out of this. I know it's a very tough time to forget but still then you have to move ahead.

Geet: Ritu everything is over, what I am to do know?

Ritu: Why don't you join the institute again.

Geet : I will think about this, Veerji had discussed with me about this, looking at her father..

Ritu: Ok think and decide to join it and I am here only for 2 days as my hubby is on business tour and got chance to meet my parents, then came to know about you, take care of yours n uncle too, think again you have to come out of this at any cost.

After some days she started going to institute, her timing was 11.00 to 2.00pm' She started handling everything whether its household or institute, concentrate on her work...but she closed the door for LOVE'

Meanwhile Karan was thinking of her about the job coz, institute job was not a security job. One day he called and told her about one company where she has to go for the interview, giving a card of Maan Singh Khurana ' MD of Khurana Construction, she was surprised to see it..

Karan : Don't get surprised, I know he is businessman but a rude n attitude one and you will be interviewed by him only, call him today itself and take a appointment.

Geet: but this post is for Secretary.

Karan : that I know but call him and then go.

Geet called KC and was told to come for interview next day.

At KC.

She was only one who came for interview.

Receiptionist : Mam you can go this way to conference room.

Geet : ok thanks.

Conference Room

Knocking at the door half open she heard come in.

Maan : So Miss Geet Handa, you are Gradute and you know French language also oh that's good.

Geet : Yes sir, not looking at him.

Maan : where are you looking? Look at me and answer.

Geet to herself, he is so rude n attitude person, veerji was right, that's y his secretary must be leaving job' Her interview as over within an hour and to her surprised he told to wait & collect the appointment letter from the Receptionist.

Geet to get job as Secretary was a plan made by Karan, who knows Maan very well.

Geet joined KC ' first few days of the job were very hectic, he used to shout at her whenever the things goes wrong, but somewhere the other he was falling for her, as a Secretary she was all round him'

Geet was in her own world, never looked at him in a different way ' only one relation that he was her boss and she was a employee, no feelings yet as she had already closed the door to that world earlier.

Months later, she become more friendly with the staff members, she is now used with his anger, with her presence all around him, he too changed which were noticed by his Staff members.

Once while they were chatting

Romeo : Aare apne Maan Sir kuch badle badle se lag rahe hai, jaane kya jadoo kiya Geet ne unpar.

Manishaa : badle se nahi, badal gaye hai, gussa toh unke naakh par tha, ah pata nahi kaha hai.

Adi : fir bhi yaar Geet ko manna padega, apne boss ko hi badal diya, chalo accha hai jo insaan aaj tak akela rehta ha, koi rishtedar nahi, sirf dost, unke zindagi me ek ladki to aayi.

They all started singing song'

Tum paas aaye, yu muskuraye,

Tum ne na jaane kya sapne dikhaye,

Ab toh mera dil, jaage na sota hai

Kya karu hi Kuch Kuch hota hai'

Maan was standing near the corridor and was listening to them, they didn't knew he was there.

Maan: (clearing his throat) Yeh sab kya baate ho rahi hai? Kaam nahi hai ka? Timepass karte ho or reports dete waqt excuses batate ho. Come on get back to your work fast, goes to his cabin & calls Adi.

Maan : Geet kaha hai??? Aayi nahi ab tak?

Adi : Maan Sir, she is not coming to office & here is the schedule of today.

Maan : Why any reason for that???

Adi : Sir, her father is not well.

Maan : Adi give me her CV.

Adi gave Geet's CV, Maan noted down her address.

Evening he left office early & went straight to Geet's house but found it locked he asked the neighbour about it. They told him what happened , he went to hospital'

Hospital

Geet completed all the formalities and was alone standing near the ICU Room.

Maan saw her & called Geet. She was so tensed didn't knew what was happening to her came running & hug him & said' I don't want to loose my dad, I can't be able to bear this situation again, I had already lost my beloved ones earlier. Maan took her in embrace told her to calm down, lets discuss with doctor'

Doctor was waiting for Geet..

Maan : Hello doctor.

Doctor : MR. Khurana aap or yaha.

Maan : Actually Geet is my employee, I came to know about this now.

Doctor : well MR. Khurana, I won't lie but the condition is critical can't say anything.

Geet : Doctor you said he will be fine then.

She caught Maan's hand tightly, even he was surprised.

Doctor : I told you but lets hope for the best.

She was handling office/hospital/home as per her timings' Maan told her to take leave till her father recover. But she refused first then agreed to it, day by day her father's condition was more critical than earlier, not responding to the treatments and the day came he too left her alone in this world. Geet manage to come out of this but staying alone was a problem for her she never stayed alone earlier.

After some days she was back in KC. Everyone was showing her sympathy, in return she answered them. Its life so we have to move ahead na, thinking of past we will never think of present, so guys I am fine now and yes please don't do this again.

Maan was in cabin heard this when Adi came to give file and said to himself, its impossible to understand her with a short smile, she told me she lost her 2 beloved one earlier, one must be her mother but who was the second one she was talking about.

As the days are passing, Maan was impressed by her work. Many a times they came close to each other. They attended parties related to projects, visited sites but never cross their limit. Whenever it was late in office or party he used to dropped her at home. Their expressions where more than the words to know each other feelings.

She felt something for him now but her mind was not allowing to accept it, how could this happen, do I love him??? No its only I care him nothing else but still she goes on thinking of Maan more. Whereas Maan was becoming more restless, whether its office or home he was thinking of her lot. Now he wanted to be with and near her. Thinking a lot he called Karan, who was his best friend & Geet's veerji, told him everything and wants to know about her reaction.

Maan : Ok fine, anyway I have a meeting today in office only let see if I can talk with her about this.

Maan got to know about her past from Karan, he was really😲😲 to hear this and took the decision of asking her after meeting.

All the staff were very much aware what's going between Maan & Geet, they really want to see them married coz both of them are sailing in the same boat of sorrows & loneliness.

As it was lunch time '

Pinky : Maan sir to pure fisal gaye'are fisale nahi lattu hogaye.

Romeo : Yaar aag to duno taraf barabar ki lagi hai, sirf kehna suna baki hai..

Manishaa : Kehe du tumhe yaa chup rahu, dil me mere aaj kya hai'.

He was about to sing further, Geet shouts at him.

Geet : Is this a way to say something about your boss when he is not there?

Pinky : Fir Geet tum batao aaj Maan Sir, nahi hai or tum pareshan lagti ho kyu??

Geet : Wo mai kuch kaam ke bare me soch rahi thi'

Romeo: Kaam ke bare me !!!!!! Nahi yeh nahi ho sakta, bina Maan ke Geet kaam ke bare me soch hi nahi sakti.

We want you n Maan sir to get marry seems that you both are made for each other you have to think on this Geet & Maan Sir also loves you.

Geet : Aapke Maan Sir na baba, gussa to unke naakh par hamesha rehta or aise insaan ke saath shaadi na baba.

All of them. : Ek bar toh socho Geet..

Geet : Shut up you guys, tum sab bighadye huye ho, sudhar jao.

All of them : Sudharna humare bas ki baat nahi. Hum to aise hi hai

Including Geet all laughed they felt happy after a long time she laughed, all got back to work again.

Geet was busy in preparation of all the documents & details require for meeting & in her self thought nothing wrong they are saying that's true I too feel something for him when he is near, do I love him, why I feel secure whenever he unknowingly hugs me? Yes he is changed but how do I know his feeling for me.

AFTER MEETING

Meeting lasted for 3hrs. & it was 7.00pm. Everyone left except Maan & Geet. Maan informed security that they are still in office & it will take some more time so be there. Maan came near Geet, he was sitting on corner end of the table facing to Geet.

Maan : Geet''.

Both looking at each other

Geet : yes sir.

Maan comes to sense & stands near window. Geet to herself, he is thinking of me, I know he cares me a lot. I have already forgot my past & if he really loves me then I should tell him about my past I can't hide from him but at same time I don't want to loose him..

Maan coming near to Geet making her stand & proposed her.

Maan : Will you marry me, that true I won't be able to live without you. I don't know how, when & where I started thinking of you & now I want you to be with me in my life forever & I will make it sure there will be no more tears in your eyes.

Geet was 😳 😳, she too wants Maan n her life but was wating for his reaction, without saying any thing both 🤗🤗 each other.

Maan : Geet bolo chup kyu ho??

Geet : I too love you a lot, got afraid of losing you when you will come to know my past.

Maan : Then we are getting married tomorrow itself.

Geet : Maan

Maan : Now that sounds good, was waiting to hear this dear' Maan sir has changed to Maan only your Maan.

Geet : I have to discuss with my veerji about this & marriage after 10days.

Maan : your veerji I mean IM(institute manger) he is best friend of mine tell him that I am coming to meet him tomorrow.

Geet : You never ask me about my past.

Maan : That I came to know from your Veerji only. I have accepted you as you are no more questioning lets go.

Maan dropped her at home. Geet was thinking of her parents when happy days are again mom & dad are not there tears rolled down from her eyes, wiping them she went to sleep.

Maan after reaching home first gave a call to Karan n told him everything and promised him that they will get married with all rituals.

Karan was happy for her, atlast she got what she deserve.

Flash back over'' Back to present

At midnight she heard some sound & woke up to see Maan, oh its you.

Maan : coming near to her yes dear, waited for long time, but they were not leaving me, anyhow I told them its too late & I want to go to my sweety. Maan removed all her jewellery one by one, kissed on her forehead, rubbing his nose on her neck started kissing slowly, her eyes were closed feeling his touch her heartbeats were rising.

Geet : Maan

Maan : nothing to say today... sweety.

Yes today she was his & he was hers FOREVER.

This was beginning of her new life'. She got which was not expected by her.
