Although Star One's popular show 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi' has gripped the audience for almost two years, it seems that lovers will have to say goodbye to it by the end of this year, if not sooner. If our source is correct, the producer has denied any extension for the show, and has firmly stated that the show will not be granted a slot for a new season after the channel is recreated to Star Desh. The new channel will feature all new and fresh shows, and the other two serials airing currently on the channel will also be put to a hault before the revamp and will not be bled into the new blueprint either.

The latest development has come as a respite toGeet - Hui Sabse Parayi, a show which was all set to get axed by October. We hear it has now got an extension of three months and is tipped to be a part of the channel even after its revamp.
Adds our source, "The channel wants to retain some of their shows even after the revamp, hence the extension. Geet has started faring better of late."
