I also LOVED the hug today! It has been so long since we got a hug of Geet putting her arms around MSK's neck and desperately holding on. These hugs always happen when he has just saved her from some danger or they are re-united after a fight/separation, like the hospital hug, the mirror hug after the tumse hi, the bed hug after KBM, the flaming dupatta hug right after marraige, the Amritsar reunion. Otherwise she usually just slips her arms under his. Look at me, hug analyst. 🤓
I also loved that there was a pause after he asks her if she trusts him. His expression was like, "you do?". This was a nice touch with him still discovering her after the ML. It was especially nice because he once said that one of the things he loves most about her is that she trusts him implicitly and has faith in every word he says. It was nice to see him rediscover that.
The good direction is back! I loved that they kept showing little snippets of Maan and Geet unconsciously touching each other, not necessarily romantically but showing that closeness and intimacy. I loved how she stroked his arm, where she had tied her dupatta ever so gently and he was looking at her the whole time with an expression that suggested he was getting an idea of how much they mean to each other. Even though he doesn't have his memory back, he is getting the essence of those feelings. I give all credit to the good direction!
And the precap! Ohmagawd! I never thought silhouettes could make me go weak at the knees! And they never give away the best parts in the precap so I don't think this is the ahem climax, of the scene even!
