@Opti:I could not enjoy the saree scene because entire episode was dominated by Devini and the whole flow was interrupted ..so I said the impact was not felt ..nothing to do with any social message here 😆...and about Anandi ..dekh lena in the end Jagya and Anandi will come together because colors is all set to give them the best jodi award in thier new talent award show 🤣🤣🤣🤣...And about LTL ,no replacement actor gets good money because repalcement always hv its own disadvantages 😳

@Medha:There r things which cannot b taken as entertainment as well as a social message ...marriage is an institution and taking it as challenge and making a joke of it goes against our hindu religion or sentiments...so when it comes to religious issues ,every show should try and respect it and not make fun of it ...but hving said that ,it has nothing to do with social message ..both r different things altogether and should not b mixed here 😊

Geet was never a perfect serial to be precise...

Maxium people got hooked to coz of Maaneet / GurTi chemistry which indeed was different

and some got hooked coz they saw Geet as a stronger femal and liked the initial script...

but people who liked this show for script many have already left the show...am i wrong??

now people who are still hooked to the show ..they are still connected to the show because of one reason MAANEET 😊...am i wrong...

If i was seeing the show for a social message i would have left the show right after Geet forgiving Dev...many did...

And GHSP has hug net fan following...so they need something or the other to crib...When i see my strong lead been reduced to a common crying lead i will crib because that is not how Geets character was shapped...

when we see Dev all happy with Geet we crib because as a part of story we can never forget what Dev the character did to Geet in the show...though the show is for entertainment it will have some positives and negatives...

We crib for Nandini because somewhere as Nandini we are seeing a week link with Geet...which is hampering Geet's character big time...if Geet never supported Nandini we would have never cribbed so much...

in short we crib because we are attachet to Maaneet..anything which shows Geet week, confused, crying and cribbing will be cribbed over coz Geet fans are used to see her strong and doing right things😊...

No problem at all ...only if things would hv been more transparent in the script like Dev already telling the truth to Nandu about his past and Geet already telling the truth of Devini marriage to Maan ...again its nothing to do with social message here but just a simple script ...entertainment does not mean that CVs can dish out trash scripts ..when I said entertainment ..I meant something which can let us enjoy without asking the question ":Why and how" ...entertainment can b given out without such jerks in the script by making a more neat writing in screenplay ..it need not give us a social message but a neat simple writing can also entertain the common public ...

Anu, you've got me there. I have to admit to not having seen shows of the 1980s, as you or others may have. But, I do remember some shows of the 1990s and also the mesages that they conveyed or tried to convey.

Well, if you ask me, I'd say that people probably (I can't speak definitively for others) tune in to shows that depict issues, including social issues, or situations (whether romance or humour) that they identify or empathise with. And, if that is true, therein lies the crux of the matter.

Dev and Nandini are not a third angle between Maan and Geet. Small mercies there.

So, the only problem we have with the present track now is that Dev and Nandini share the same household with Maan and Geet. I hope you won't hold it against any of the creatives if they choose to follow this suggestion as the solution to the present rage that is directed against them and show some further nonsensical track while staying within the contours of what you've set out above.

So, why crib against Dev? Why label him a rapist? Why protest his marriage to Nandini, Geet's sister? Why label Nandini to be a woman without character?

U really think shows are there to give social messages...In zee we had AJMBHK which promised to show the struggle of a girl..it was a hit...but what social message it gave...

We have many shows claming to be social issue dealing show but at the end they are here to make money...the point which people like will be cashed in by PH and channel
