I don't know the answers for these question but if he is capable of doing such an appalling destruction to the show then he needs to be kicked out ASAP out of Geet !! His attitude towards the work and with the kind of love towards his creation Devini it is going to be disastrous and the show can be doomed despite of the efforts we put in to save the show!!

Jyo, another reason why I think this Devini marriage plot was already on board and just got advanced is the fact that this track still involves Geet and Maan in the whole deal. Now if they had any consideration for the actor's ailment would they have not come up with a track which does not involve DD and Maan?

Jyo, even if we have to accept your argument, they could have always showed Geet asking Dev why he looked very happy and he could have shyly disclosed how he proposed to Nandu and how she accepted it. Why show her discover this clandestine marriage? See no argument for their pathetic track holds water. The CVs stink in their job and it is only showing earlier than later in the week.
