Hi Usha and Deeps

You guys are making me so hungry- all this talk of food. Here's me home from work, sitting with my dear sad looking Ganesha,, who only got plums, one tomato (from my garden) and a banana for naivedyam!!
And all because I've never made modak (undrallu as we call them in Telugu) though I've consumed a million tonnes of the stuff (may be even more!) , as mom makes great modaks.
So please can you pm me the recipe too.
Now I'm going to make me and my hungry Ganesha some masla vadai and, sooji halwa and poriyal with fresh beans plucked just this morning straight from my colleague's garden.

I wonder if all the gorgeous food you;ve both made could be pmed to me? How I would love that!
