I did not think Geet came out as the courageous one in this scene. Dev was more valiant than Geet who simply seemed to follow the orders of her bro-in-law. And what do we see the ever faithful bhabhi do in return? Prod him to confess his love to her sister who is still in the dark about Dev's dark ways of the past. As I keep saying ends dont justify the means and I hope we get rid of MCP writers like Mahesh Pandey soon so that the show will go back to what it used to be.
And yes Mahesh hv indeed reduced Geet into a weak character which is unfortunate but hving said that I feel under these circumstances ,we cannot expect a woman to b all practical when she is badly longing for her hubby's love and affection from such a long time ...ðŸ˜
And she gets it by waiting on him hand and foot? I would have imagined a woman like the intelligent Geet we saw earlier would have got her man's attention by her intelligence but no, even when she made that excellent presentation earlier on, we saw that Maan did not show any interest in it. He may not have liked her but still he could have been appreciative of the way she handled the presentation, wothout actually telling her so. That would have been the way the old Maan would have acted. Then after that they show that the client insists on having Geet aboard because Dadima asks him to. I would have thought that Geet's presentation was enough for the client to request that Geet be on the team. We saw the beginning of an office track which was hurriedly shelved off in favour of showing an angry Maan. Geet is back to being a home maker. I have nothing against home makers but girls with as much intelligence and innovativeness as Geet should put their brains to more use than just in making the bed or making black coffee. A true man is one who appreciates his wife's intelligence and accepts her as a life partner in every sense, both professional and personal.
