The driver stopped the bus for some time near a lonely place there was nothing but a small room with public convinience board over it suddenly she checked her bag to ensure if she
had all the files with her and then suddenly a paper flew away ...to her utter shock..!! then she ran to get that paper she didn't have any clue about that paper...so...for safety as she didn't know if the bus would stop for so long so she prepared for the worst and took her bag and ran to search for the
paper and after chasing it she got the paper and she sighed relief and took a long breath and when she opened her eyes the worst had already
happened...!!!!! the bus was not there she was dumbstruck , having no idea what to do...!!!
and she thought for herself,
"OMG...how could you be sooo stupid , are u mad what have u done was it necessary to check all the files now...!!!! how can ppl be so cruel ...may be they waited or may be they thought that i ran away with my bag..!!!
"what's the need to take away the bag may be if u left it behind they could have searched b'coz i was a girl...or may be they cud have left carrying the bag away with them " may be i did right thing by taking the bag with me or was it a wrong step???
She came away from all the thoughts , she was confused , she was shocked and angry at the same time..!!!
she sat on a nearby bench holding her head betwen her hands ...thinking what's next.
Then suddenly a person came running ... he stopped on the middle of the road and searched all the directions and put his hands on the waist ...and just then he saw a girl siting on a bench eating a chocalate he cleared his throat
then he took his eyes of her and asked her..."did u see any bus passing fom here...!!"
before she could reply they heard a sound of splash, they both saw a person tapping his hands in the water may be for help they both were shocked to see that
person they didn't know what to do , they were hell scared...then he suddenly jumped in the water and saved him from drowning...and then as soon as they saw
the person , they were shocked...!!!!
that person was shot with a pistol..!!! he was very badly wounded and was bleeding like anything.
Geet's eyes were filled with shock and fear ,she was trembling. Maan saw her and stood up to calm her down but then she suddenly took her bag searched
her bag and took out a first aid box and started to clean his wounds ...then Maan was releived he rubbed his hands and legs and Maan said "..we have to rush to the hospital"
"Yeah but ther's no vehicle here and i have no idea abt the distance" said geet in a trembling voice
Maan ran and went across many small huts down around the place , and she was soo tensed but still continued to clean his wounds and rubbed his hands and
Maan soon went out of her sight she kept waitin' for him she was alone with a person who is badly hurt and bleeding like hell...!!! she tried her maximum to
control her fear Maan ran and ran , at last he saw a house and he persuaded that person to take the injured person to the hospital in his truck he finally came
wth a vehicle she was releived and they both rushed to the hospital...!!!!!!!
And they admitted that person and doctors went to examine him...they both were tensed and shocked at the same time...none of them knew him ,
to stay calm in the whole situation she controlled her fear ...all the incidents that happened for last few minutes and hours revolved in her mind
wounds ,her trembling hands while dressing his wounds,the fear , the shock , the feeling of helplessness ...everything then tears started flowing from her eyes
because all the fear she was holding for last few hours came out in the form of tears ...
...and then Maan noticed her crying , he knew the kind of situation she had gone through , a person almost dying lying on your lap is not at all a small thing ,
he very well understood her tears , Maan sat near her and handed her a glass of water . "Everthing will be fine" don't panic...you handled the situation very well
,Relax...!! his words acted like some energy boosters on her her tears stopped to flow ,she nodded and stood , she was waitin' for the doctor to come maan then closed his eyes and rubbed his face ,
and then dr. came out of his room: " everything is undercontrol now he is out of danger and he'll soon gain his consiousness .Police will soon be here you have to
complete some formalities"
Sure sir,said maan
They both were highly releived and smiled at each other...see.. everything is fine now...!!! "yeah...thank god everything is fine "
they soon completed all the formalties .
They left the hospital after some time they took a lift , and sat in the truck.
There was a strange silence all around , Maan and Geet both were so silent and calm , all the things that happened a while ago were so strange ,
Maan who was going out of the town for a presentation that might have changed his life that would have taken his small emerging company to new heights , all
the sleepless nights , unenjoyed parties were of no use . a single instant changed may things that might have happened if the incident at that instant would not
have happened.
They both saw each other and smile came out their lips automatically , then maan broke the silence "I'm Maan" ,
"I'm Geet"
Maan initiated a conversation and then started to talk slowly.
Then they both got down the truck and the truck went towards other direction.
they went to a nearby dhaba and ordered a chai..
after some time they both realised that all the dirty cups were being washed in one single dish containing water.
geet almost puked seeing that
Maan ; bhaiya , hume chai nahi chahiye pls hum jaa rhe hai.
are bhai sahab kya hua , aap ek baar hamai chai piyenge to phir kabhi nahi bhoolenge , aap pijiye to sahi.
Maan and geet both were feeling too awkward
Maan : are nahi bhaiya ...are haan main to bhul hi gaya tha is bichaari ladki ko chai se allergy hai ,isliye mai bhi nahi pee sakta , and they went away from the
dhaba as soon as possible..
and when hey came on the road , they both looked at each other and bursted out laughing.
Geet : waise aapka bahaana kaafi ajeeb tha...
maan smiled
Geet saw something and called Maan but she was hesitant to say the thing
Maan : wat happened geet???
nothing maan i was just...she stopped
are wat happened pls tell me ..
then geet showed a small lake to maan and said " Maan , i love these kind of places , i never get to enjoy this sight , so pls can we sit there for sometime"
maan smiled at her hesitance for such a small thing
yeah sure even i like to enjoy the nature
the sat down near a lake it was so beautiful , with many kinds of trees with different colurs of flowers , they both stared at the water,
Geet :it's so lovely and amazing
Maan: yeah , it's been years that i have enjoyed such beauty of nature, all the ambitions and my aspirations were driving me crazy , i hardly got time to enjoy
such pleasures
geet who kept looking at the water continues the conversation "or may be we ourself never gave time for ourselves...we were always one amongst the crowd ,
srtriving to be different from the crowd and then end up being all alone in the crowd. " she said with a lost look on her face.
Both maan and geet looked at each other , until yesterday they were two strangers who even didn't know each other's names and now they shared a pleasure and
happiness of saving the life of one person , and strangely they now shared the lost fun in the smile..!!
they again smiled, and tried to make the situatin a bit lighter.
but now they were trying hard to find words...
they both said "woh" at the same time . and they laughed , soo...abhi i think we should go , i wish we could spend some time here but it's practically a bit
impossible, geet nodded smiling and they both left the place ,they walked and walked along the narrow roads and the beautiful hills and amazing waterfalls , they enjoyed each other's company , it was so soothing and beautiful, they both shared an unknown yet amazing relation breaking away from their monotonous and running life
they somehow managed to get lift to shimla , the place they wanted to go .
Then while going towards their respective places , they wanted to share their numbers , but they both were hesitant to ask the other person , but they came out
of all their thoughts of the , the special closeness made them forget all the unconviniene creeping in their mind , so they jst somply exchanged their numbers and
left...!!
and the next day after reaching her house geet told about how she missed her bus and she wasn't able to go to attend the interview , she hid the accident thing
from her mother b'coz she knew she be scared like hell she choose to tell her some other time"
and the next day her mother came to her room to give a very badd news (well according to geeT)
after listenin' to her mom , no mom plsss...mjhe aise his kisi se shaadi nahi karni , i don't blv in all dese ladki dekhnw aana and all
"nahi geet tu meri baat to sun , zaroori nahi hai ki tu abhi shaadi kar le , ek baar tu usse mil , baat kar, agar accha lage to rishta pakka kar denge , ab wo log
bahut ache hai , shaadi ke baad bhi tume job krne se nahi tokenge , aur unhe bhi shaadi ki koi jaldi nahi hai , jab ak tum dono ek dusre ko acche se smajh nahi
logeshaadi ke liye force nahi karenge beta..., pls listen to me
mama aap ye kya boli jaa rh ho , mjhe nahi samajhna ko , pls leave me alone , ab mujhe kisi ki photo bhi nahi dekhni hai , !!
then geet's father came "agar tmhe wo accha lage to hi hum baat aage badhayenge , agar tmhe zara bhi pasand nahi aaya , to tumhe koi force nahi karega beta.
Geet smiled hearing these words , she's definetely gonna reject this offer no matter if he is so hansome or dashing or whatever.
and the next day she was dressed neatly and went to see thaat bwoy , and was so excited to reject him, but then she saw a boy whose face showed the same
dullness which was on her face , he was neatly dressed in a green shirt ,he was looking so handsome, dignified and poised, his eyes were fixed to a plant outside ,
he was smiling watching that plant and to her utter shock he was none other than maan,he took his eyes from the plant and saw geet , today she was looking
extremely beautiful , so simple in her pink suit wit open hair and her eyes were glowing they both were so delighted to see each other ,the faces of both of them
which were pale until now suddenly started glowing .They both were unable to blv their eyes , they started smiling at each other , Geet's went inside after
watching him ...she smiled to herself , she actually enjoyed that moment . and then meera her friend came out rudhing inside geet's room
yeh kya ho rha hai geet , arranged marriage tujhe to arranged marriage pasand hi nahi hai na..
and geet who was smiling so pleasently , looked at meera " who knows meera, may be i beleive in arrnaged marriages, waise they are not at all bad , i can definetely give a chance , hai na..her smile became more broader!!
meera stood there confused.
Maan saw her number in the phone , and smiled to himself the name which went in his contacts just a day before is actually going to change his life forever
He stood there smiling...
