I don't think Geet begged him to break her fast. She gave him a choice, she clearly said that she wont force him but just to hear her out and then decide.

One thing I liked about that conversation is she said was you're just feeding me water not binding in a r'ship. That's what I've been shouting yesterday, just break her fast so she doesn't fall sick.
