Hey Alll,

I watch both IPKKND, and GHSP😆 Don't shoot! Please..spare me⭐️
Basically, my question is, why is that an apparent crime??
I recently started a topic in IPKKND forum, and well I was asked my a Senior Member, to please refrain from mentioning Geet. I was like 😲...oookkayyy...😛.

SO um...why??? They have the same PH. if anything, people should find this a reason to bond, no???😃

Are they on competing time-slots or something?? Someone clue me in...lol. I obviously don't get it...

Its not being enemy dear but everyone is supporting our for own fav shows,

we love Maaneet/Gurti from the bottom of our hearts and in that forum they love their stars

i find it better if we do not talk about other shows in the forums as the result will only be bashing and putting each other stars down so to maintain peace if better dear

I am not bashing you but i am trying to explain to you the reason dear

Maybe you should ask the person who asked you not to mention Geet 😕 😕 😕

I do not think I have any problem with the IPKMKND show. What problem can I have with a show I do not watch? 😕 🤣 🤣 but I have to admit the name is a mouthful 😛 ...maybe people are too lazy to type out all those letters 😕 😕 😕...just throwing out some options. 😕

One more thing just because it is from the same PH does not mean that people have to like it. People have different sensibilities as you saw when someone in that forum asked you not to mention Geet. It is clear this person does not like this show and only likes that one.

But to answer your question, a lot of people feel like IPKKND (typing that is tiring!) borrows lots of elements of plot and characterisation from Geet. The whole bubbly traditional girl meets angry, closed off boss with a dark, mysterious past, down to the fact that both male leads have names with 3 initals, MSK/ASR, you get the idea. Plus, some scenes are very similar, from what I have heard. I have never really watched IPPKND.

This would be totally fine, especially since they are from the same production house but people are also upset that many members of the original and brilliant team of Geet have moved to that show and it they feel Geet seems to be getting second-rate treatment despite the fact that it was the creation that really put their name out there. Also, this show seems to be getting way more attention, right off the bat, because it is on a bigger channel and will easily have more TRPs as a result. So people feel the PH is focusing on it and neglecting the development of Geet.

I personally don't really feel any of these things, except maybe that the two storylines are pretty similar, but then that is more of a genre thing than out and out copying. I haven't really watched IPKKND at all but I just tried to give you an idea of what I have been reading about this.

I actually watch both the shows and I like both of them ...They are quite different so I dont understand the comparison except for that ASR/MSK are similar
