@Opti...the thing is many viewers me included want the show to continue because of Gurti/Maaneet. I personally feel there's still a lot they can offer us as actors. Yes the PH is not interested in the show anymore but the channel is and the final call is taken by the channel. People at the channel know that viewers want to see Gurti on screen so they are open to new ideas for a future storyline. The re-incarnation track was one such idea. Now if the PH is not interested in pursuing it, the channel should ask them to relinquish all rights and tell Endemol or some other PH to take control. And if thats not possible then they should take 4 Lions to task...its high time the channel intervenes and puts an end to the PH's nonsense. Their unprofessional behaviour is shameful...at such a rate their existence in this industry is limited...🤔

How soon people forget the past. If today the show has been reduced to a shadow of what it was, it is because of the channel. Throwing PH and getting a new PH will not help if they do not change their mindset. If they really want to retain Gurti, why not come up with a brand new story and get them play the leads instead of arm-twisting a reluctant PH into accepting a ridiculous plot?

Anu, it is the channel's decision to show a regressive Geet. Barry was against Dev touching Geet during the holi scene but channel went ahead and got her willingly get holi applied on her by her culprit. I fear that post RC the show will get more regressive. It will be more of the Amritsar type tracks as they will no longer be a youth oriented channel. Forget Maaneet hugs. Even eye-locks may become a rare commodity in the new family channel.

They clarified about the RC because the story is in their hands (at least at present) and the show's end is in the channel's hand.

Channel is singing different tune and then even said they r not aware of we not liking certain tracks ...

Channel is the one which came up with the question whether Dev should be forgiven and when the answer was a predominant 'no' we get to see not only Dev's forgiveness but his absolution. If they were not responsible for it then why did they not deny it? They too have their website. But their website is only to conduct useless polls which they don't seem to heed.

So where is the communication between PH and channel here ??

Precisely. If the PH and the channel are not communicating to each other, how can we repose the fate of Maaneet in their hands and that too risking seeing them sadly die because of the vamp?

From little what I had my interaction with channel people in last few days via phone calls ..I saw they r really interested to continue the show with fresh new concept and r open for storylines and improvements ...

Killing Maaneet in order to resurrect them is not a fresh new concept to me. It is a beaten to death story.

But PH is not showing same enthusiam knowing that how much people adore Maaneet ..

If they really cared for fans adoration of the couple why did they have so many illogical tracks? At least now they are trying to spare us of more rot.

So after seeing all this ,its obvious that as fans many will feel pissed off with 4Lions and thier views and in case if they decide to close shop ,it will b indirectly thier victory and we fans loose in a way and also feel cheated at the same time because we never got to know the real facts and culprits behind the blunders done in the show and all of a sudden we see its closing shop ...when channel wants to continue it further ...

I've heard enough about how things work in the T.V. industry to know that the channel always has the last word. So all the blunders in the show so far cannot be without the blessing or maybe even encouragement of the channel. So if the channel wants to continue the show, why not come up with a brand new concept and start another show with the same leads? Why try to mess with someone else's baby?
