I think she just left the out house actually. She was saying all those love-moments happened there and now she is leaving...alone. So I think she is really planning to leave, for real. We'll see what happens, it looks like Daadi has another convenient illness up her sleeve! 😉

Hey Samana. This was another amazing post and as usual I have agreed to everything you have come up with for the possibility of Geet leaving.

Personally, I feel Geet leaving (and even not leaving) would be ok. If she doesn't leave that's great but it could also mean that Maan would further mistrust her and believe that she's being stubborn and not leaving and that she is trying to force herself into his life. This will further aggravate him and will make him spew some more unwanted venom at her. She already cannot bare the fact that he indirectly insulted himself and his marriage .. by pointing his finger at her mangalsutra and sindoor. That I think broke her heart more .. she is mature enough to understand that he is going through memory loss -- heck even Maan knows this now -- so she does not blame him for the accusations he laid on her at the conference room. Although his words were pretty darn harsh and unacceptable .. he has gotten away big time because of his ML 😆 .. I just don't like that people are pointing fingers at Geet and saying that she should stay back because Maan is her husband. Hello! He doesn't really want to accept that fact at the moment and after what just happened I doubt he's going to come home and say "Sorry, I misunderstood you .. let's start our life together now" .. errr he needs some time away from her and frankly so does she. Girl went through hell and back after confronting Pammi, almost getting shot, finding her husband battered and bruised, going to the hospital to find out he's gone, coming back home to find out he doesn't remember her, having to get used to the fact that he doesn't remember her and is just her boss, having to bare his anger, his insults, his accusations, and the list goes on. If the girl wants a breather .. I think she should and deserves one! There's nothing wrong in her wanting to leave for a while so that Maan gets his head together and gets accustomed to the fact that he's married -- and married to her. Her absence would actually be good as it would show his desperation to want to be with her.

This could also give an opportunity to Geet to come back with a bang and with a motive. She will decide that she needs to be more independent to show Maan that she's exactly the opposite of what he thinks she is. She's no gold-digger .. and I think he'll know that after finding out she left although she owns 51% shares in his company. She could make a name for herself .. work somewhere else instead .. possibilities are endless. All these things could be catalysts in making Maan realize how strong she really is -- what a SHERNI she can be when she needs to be!

After seeing the spoilers .. I think Maan will have his much awaited confrontation with Daadima where she spills tbe beans to him .. and since he only trusts Daadima he'll believe it this time (although not completely able to fathom this truth).. and she will have her famous palpitations 😆 and he will go after Geet .. but just for the sake of Daadima at the moment.

Geet might just come back with him and live in the outhouse till he is more comfortable with her. But I feel that won't happen so soon (and frankly speaking I don't want it to!) .. and they'll have this love/hate relationship thing going on .. it'll be pretty awesome. She'll be giving him the royal ignore .. he'll try his best to prove that his accusations were right .. and he'll one find day realize that she's not what he thinks of her... she's a gem. This slow but intense love phase will be a pretty awesome one I'm sure!

Once again, awesome post. Let's see what's in store.. but I'm dead sure Geet is going to leave and I totally support her stance if so.

YAY! I have been waiting for your reply since yesterday and it was so worth it!

Your analysis is so refreshing in comparison to all the Geet-criticism that I am seeing around. Poor thing, she is so young, and dealing with things way beyond her maturity level 😛! Like you said, she has been to hell and back, and girl deserves a break if she wants one. If she acts a little immaturely sometimes can't we cut her some slack? I feel bad for her. It's funny how this show is meant to have a message to empower women, and yet, everybody is always ready with the hatchets for Geet and ready to forgive Maan for any transgression (especially now, with the ML excuse). ML or no ML, I think his behaviour was unacceptable but of course, very much in character for him and good for the story.

As for Geet leaving, I really wouldn't mind as long as she was only leaving his physical presence and maintained contact with Daadi and the rest (Lucky and Mama should go home; I hereby declare that Preeto misses Lucky something fierce and needs him back, and if Lucky goes back Mama won't be alone at home, problems solved! Nandini can stay, but only for the NT drama she promises...). Staying away from Maan for a while is certainly not the worst idea, and making a name for herself in some other way would just strengthen the image of her as anything but a gold-digger. He is really not ready to have her back in his life at the moment, as you said and the best thing for her to do is..nothing. And I would LOVE her to come back with a bang, but still avowing her love for Maan, establishing that she can be successful on her own, but she loves him anyway.

To me, the Rohtak house would be a perfect place for her to go, because she is physically away from Maan but maintains the connection with him since it's where they shared some wonderful moments together, and sort of a far-removed extension of KM. It would be so cute if Daadi came to visit and told her stories about when she lived there with her husband of two names 😆.

At this point, it seems Daadi will stop Geet from leaving, if indirectly by falling ill. If she does live in the out house as you suggested, I hope she does keep her distance from Maan, but maturely, telling him she is ready to wait for him to understand the situation fully. I want him to be impressed by her mature handling of the situation, which may help him to understand what he saw in her in the first place!

Also, I can't wait to see what her letter says. I think it is premature to criticise her decision to leave before knowing what she says to Maan before leaving.
