Gurmeet choudhary who plays the angry young man,maan singh khurana in star one's popular show geet hui sabse parayi,talks about the latest controvesy.The actor created a bit of a stir recently over his performance at Zee TV's Gold Awards.Grapevine declared that Gurmeet had refused to perform with his co-star Drashti Dharmi who plays the much-loved Geet in the serial.Insiders say he was scared of his wife's reaction,after gossip about their reel-to-real-life romance was published laterly.Instead of dousing the rumors,Gurmeet's refusal made look even more suspicious and had tellyfolk arriving at various assumptions.Gurmeet explains,"I do not know from where the news has cropped up.this,I guess, is a publicity stunt to gain attention.I would request my fans not to believe any article unless and until I am quoted so that you guys are not mis-led".Gurmeet added,"I am a through professional and I have no issues working with Drasthi.The audience has been us performing together for a lot of events.As far as debina is concerned,she knows my profession and she does not have any problems with me performing with any of my co-stars!"(acress debina bonnerjee played sita to Gurmeet's Ram in the serial Ramyana.
