They may not be aware but GC and DD have been living their characters for over a year and have done it before. A brilliant actor is one who rises above the director and gives consistently good performances despite the mediocrity of the captain of the ship. Hope it is only a temporary blip and both find their groove soon with or without the director's help. We've been spoilt by great acting for so long, am finding it difficult to put up with just good stuff and not brilliant stuff.
