What a fiery, hot and steamy post to discuss...
I am all for it dear...but the situation in GHSP now is totally unpredictable and below the expectation of the Fan's demand.
Initially the story ,concept, dialogues, characters, the flawless acting skills of the leads and other characters and above all the mindblowing chemistry of the leads raised the bar of GHSP to such a high scale that it became difficult for the CVS of GHSP to maintain the standard ...
The intense passion of the lead was lost ...we saw the monotony and so many time lack of passion as this was also mentioned by DD in one of her interview ...
The passion and intensity which was shown earlier was hard to find after Geet disclosed her pragnancy to Maan.
RTM sequence is another eg which was far better then Maneet's SR in Jungle which I still feel was done in haste...
even the Short SR when Maan stopped to consumate after remembering Geet's pregancy was better thean the actual one😡
After their marriage we had high hopes of their SR ...that turned out to be a total crap...😡
SR scences which r shown in other serials are 100% better then what they have shown in GHSP.
I just want to ask one question when Geet can give a peck on Maan's cheek why Maan was deprived of that??????
They excite us by showing us fatherly kisses on forehead 😡 and we all go GAGA...😡
I don't know where this passionate love story is gone which was once described by Swati and Nissar...
So dear if we want to discuss the issue of LIP LOCK in GHSP...this is the most demanded sequence Maneetians wants...but poor us... we r still hook to this show because of our love for the leads .😡😲

Kiss? Yes, please! I would love one (or two, three...)!

The same people that watched BBB, Kaminey,Murder, ect.. watch TV serials. So why not?

i know everything is becoming modern

but..

personally i DO NOT feel that lip-lock scenes are necessary.

I mean look at Maaneet, they create OUT OF THIS WORLD CHEMISTRY just by staring into each others eyes, holding hands or Maan moving Geet's hair from her face...😍

Im not arguing or debating, but I feel that Indian serial romances are beautifully created and there doesn't need to be any lip-locks..

See living in the Western World kissing is a common commodity all around, as well as in the media. So shows have it there commonly, nothing new with that. However, with Indian Shows I have noticed something different.

Kissing (well actual lip-locks) are uncommon in daily soaps. Rather, fake kissing (making it look like its a kiss is allowed). Recently, Star Plus and the show Maryada had a real kiss (lip lock) but the leads of that show were engaged and to be married . . . So the message I got was husband and wife to be are allowed, actors not dating aren't?

Star Plus allowed it, though I admit at the 11 o clock show, (so decidedly for a mature audience)

But in all honesty, kissing scenes were not needed in television before, and have no become a trend. I think a story is more important then such a scene (well for Indian Tele anyways).

I wouldn't mind it, but I think that's because of the society that has weathered me to be mature about it and realize it's a natural thing. Not saying Indian Tele isn't natural!

Just, I think its an aspect of love/affection and can be shown for the betterment of the story, but if not then no need. Some actors are uncomfortable as our some societies with such a display!

Not sure if Geet is a family show, but family shows in the West still have kisses. (i. e Full House)

So I don't mind! But that's my little rant for you!

Nice topic HETUUU!!!

Love
