Maybe that's why it didn't touch that deeply...the only scene I liked was when Geet saw the chair on which Maan had been tied and she cried while touching it..that brought tears to my eyes which has never happened to me before on Geet!

i know what you mean, i felt it too..and id like to add, despite the dissatisfaction and unrest there are still those moments where i sit back and go awww about this couple and their story .. like yesterday, it was just a small scene,but Geet was travelling in the car with Lucky and she bursts out crying saying, i dont know why this is happening to us, our problems seem never ending, i wish all of this would end soon, and i shed a few tears alongside her ...😳😭

Another thing is that we expected Pammi to be a strong antagonist to Maan...that ended on a damp squib...that was unexpected..we felt we'd see Maaneet fighting it out together and winning...that didn't happen either!

i still havent been able to figure out why they bring out such promising antagonists time and again, and give them a khaali plate in the end ...😕 i would love to see the challenges in their relationship too and by this i dont mean an MU necessarily all the time .. remember the time when Maan and Geet were away at HP and NT went ransacking the KC file archive? The blasting Maan gave her, is still fresh in my mind and i fell in love with that MSK and truly believed he would take anything that comes Geets way to task.. and in style ..

A lot of disappoints as far as the story line is concerned..but I have to say the leads are giving stellar performances.

Let me admit, that the whole idea behind the story and the screenplay is all going to my head, but the execution and direction is falling flat according to me ...

And let's hope they keep the ML..and weave a poignant story around it..would be the best swan song for the show.

yes, i am still hopeful, and i guess the die-hard romantic in me is to blame for the same ..🤣

Channel's position to mutiple mudslinging: " We have said the truth on our Official walls. Geet will not end in September.That is as credible as it gets. If we go back on that, then Star ONE as a channel loses credibility. TRUST US. "

i trust them !! no doubt !! but my point is ... when they said Geet will not end in Sept, did it obliquely imply, it could happen before that ?? well, we dont know .. and we hope not .. however, these things are not in the hands of the channel as well at times... there are many a slip between the cup and the lip, but we dont stop desiring the coffee do we??

I trust them. Period. Baaki jo hoga dekha jayega.

EDIT: P.S--- > Those Overseas, Use Star Player as much as you can, to view the show than stray links. Though they will NOT contribute to the TRPs, the HITS to the site and each video will assist in media selling, that is in getting ads and revenue for the channel via the show. Those who see online via youtube or other sites for whatever reasons, use STARPLAYER. Repeats on Star Player too. And if nothing, just click those vids for the fun of it! 0.3 TRPs aren't such a happy thought even post September.

As fans perhaps one can do all this to save their favorite show, and i personally would never want Geet to end, but the point is, is there a point in taking this forward if all we get to meet is disappointment and the problems inside or outside the show are irreparable ...??? we dont know why the track came to a grind hault, they may have their valid reasons, we dont know if the Channel wants to go on with the show and is too scared to say it out lest the fans react .. may be the PH doesnt want to take the show forward themselves .. poori kahani hai kya kisey hai pata... these are mere speculations ...

Lastly, whatever it is, i dont care about that part of thee story .. i want to watch the show, for however long it lasts with the same love, same enthusiasm and same passion!! and i want this to happen for reasons other than it being a habit and an addiction...

Where did they say they were going to follow the saathiya track? How do we know the saathiya track would have worked in the current scenario? The truth of the matter is you need high drama in order to rake in the TRPs. The TRPs from last week where they were executing the saathiya track were still 0.3. If we want the show to stay on the air, the TRPs have to rise. That was not going to happen with that track and I guess the lukewarm response of the audience that week proved it. So they smartly changed the storyline. The past 4 days have been beyond gripping. Maan's kidnapping and torture 😭, Geet's helplessness 😭, Pammi's actions, and most of all the twists provided lots of shock value 😲, tears 😭 and thereby TRPs. My mom and aunts are watching again . No one knows what is going to happen next and this suspense is good for the show.

This show is today where it is because of the interference of the fans . Starting from when the IP track was trashed because of fan feedback to the whole Dev forgiveness fiasco, we have never supported the team. The team needs our support now.

How many of you have noticed that the screenplay was gripping and the execution was superb 👏 👏 👏. The story itself had gone back to its roots with Barry at the helm. 👍🏼. This is a man who knows the characters in and out and the characters of Maan and Geet are safe in his hands. Why should the story follow the route you want it to? Where is the fun in that? They should keep you guessing which is what they have been successful in doing. 👏 👏 👏

A story to me means a plot where there is some surprise. Because that is how life is full of surprises - Isaac Singer

Next the useless birdies and worthless articles have created a negative atmosphere. You were all expecting the saathiya track because the birdies and the articles said so. And we know how often they have been wrong.

At this point, if we love the show, we need to support the show. Lets offer positive feedback BUT LET US NOT DO WHAT FANS DID BEFORE AND SABOTAGE A TRACK BEFORE IT STARTS. Let us also not expect the CVs to follow the beaten track and please can we let them explore this track the way they want them to. 😳 If we want to save our favorite show we have to support the team. Above all I trust Barry because he knows Maan and Geet. I am sure they have something awesome in store for us.

Maan has always been someone who has encouraged and backed up Geet no matter what .. he was ready to leave her alone with her family just cos she thought she owed her maasi and gang something ...so for a man like that to feel insecure, they would have to have executed it in a better way, and they should have infused other elements that would have perhaps made it work .. i say perhaps cos we dont know what exactly would have worked for it ..so the premature change of the track was an error in judgement ... you cant decide these things in a week .. however, Channels dont have that kind of time, and this is how things function ..its the fans that bear the brunt of what happens out there ...

No one knows what is going to happen next and this suspense is good for the show.i agree with you on the gripping part, but whats the use if i dont as a viewer dont feel the pull to watch the show the next day cos of the storyline ..again, if you do, i would say great, cos, i have seen some around me that dont even remember Geet airs at 9:30 anymore.. since this is a subjective discussion lets just leave it where it is .. fter all this debate is not You vs Me ...i dont know if the trps have risen... but as a person who has been around for a while, i felt the entire sequence could have been directed better and the whole effect could have been far more impactful than what we got to witness...may be i expect too much, but i guess thats true for anything that we love from the bottom of our heart isnt it?😳

If you read Gul's interview, she very clearly stated why they chose the Dev forgivance track, and wanted to show magnanimity in character .. did the fans want it ? No!! but didnt they still go ahead with it???? the problem here is deeper than fan intervention !!! and blaming either just the fans or just the PH or the Channel is mere speculation !!!

But there is a difference, Screenplay that looks good on paper need not always look appealing on screen ...being an eloquent writer and a speaker i may infuse many elements into my screenplay, but if my Director does no justice to it, my story would take ten steps backward ..the new Director, has been executing things as on paper, i feel the additions and the elements that one needs to add at a personal level are missing... this again is a very personal opinion that comes from observation... !!i have followed Barrys work from DMG times ..and i am pretty acquainted with his style and flavour of writing ...!! and it is because of that, that i say, i would like to see someone execute his work better and do more justice to it .. amidst all this i dont want GHSP to be at cross roads with frequent change in tracks .. it kills consistency and continuity ...

I feel this whole week execution and direction hv been top-notch and all the episodes touched me ...There hv been lots of symbolisms used as well from Gurdwara connection to MSK seeing his reflection in mud-water post Memory loss to Satnaam-Waheguru background music to Mata ka trishul ...All these touches had gone missing during Amritsar track but I see them back now ..👍🏼

The whole struggle of MSK trying to reach the Gurdwara deeply touched me...Also the new director brough our old Geet back in character

And coming to the whole purpose of the track ..I feel we need to wait and watch for it because the track is yet to start😳

Coming to the build-up to the Memory-loss track ,I did like the fast pace used in this case rather than a cliched hit and miss type scenarios ...

So all said and done I think I m looking forward to this track and the precap is of course a dream which over the time Geet will make reality because its the test of her love and patience here😳
