You definitely have a point! It is really hard to create "magic" when all the romantic tension is resolved. If you remember, most of the "magical" scenes in Geet involved Maan being all confident and Geet looking scared out of her mind (because she was falling for him and wasn't supposed to be). We felt that tension within Geet because female viewers associate with female characters (why we fall in love with Maan). And when problems were solved, we felt the relief of the tension equally powerfully. That dramatic rise and ebb of tensions is what is missing now, because the tension came from not knowing if they would make it (even though our brains told us it was inevitable, when we were watching we felt the suspense), but now, the character feels no danger of them separating so we don't feel it either. The CVs face a huge challenge because we don't want to see Maan and Geet in any major conflict but that is the only way to create tension in the relationship, create tension within the characters, and then reunite them in a powerful way. So CVs have to find a way to create conflict within their marriage, which does not threaten to separate them permanently but also convinces us that there is some danger, so that when the conflict is resolved we feel that high and "magic", not an easy job! But I do think they are on to a good track and am excited to see how they tackle this.
