I voted for the new entry but won't be harsh on the current writer Barry -after all he's one of the remaining ones who's sticking up with the show even while handling the dialogues,screenplay and storyline.😊

I wish it'd be Devmati -that'd make more sense wheter as a notorious plotter or as an incorrigible screw up,a "dhabba on khandan",but alas it can't be😭

As for Canada wali Pammi she seemed to be a less educated , frail soul merely embroiled in the family feud to me.

But another optimistic hope would be NT never thought I'd miss her soo much😆

Who else can it be but Houdini?
Since there is no logic, it has to be the magic. That is the magic of the show, the great magician Rahul whoever, has pronounced, hasn't he, that we must forget logic if we want magic? My only comment on that is-- 'w*****er'
Seems I am in the major minority! strange I thought it was the most obvious answer to your question. Well, I'm happy to be in the minority on this one.
