Love is what makes the world go around. It is powerful enough to change people and their mindset. If Maan today is a changed man from the anti-social recluse we knew him to be in the past, it is because of his love for Geet and Geet's love for him. Maan has a long agenda of changing the mindset of each of Geet's family members and solve their problems. For this, love is required. It is Lucky's love for Preetho which will make him take up the task of winning the wrestling match with determination and prove to his family he is not a pushover. It will take the love of her family which will make Beeji see what her refusal to hear the other side out is doing to the people she loves. Tejji needs to realise how deprived of love his wife is and with love, their relationship would be much stronger and happier.


Maan had good intentions but unfortunately did not go about it the right way. He had earlier tried to be subservient as Balwant Singh to win over Geet's family. While he was successful in gaining love and respect from them, he spoilt it all by waiting too long to reveal his true identity. Geet's family thought he insulted their intelligence by fooling them for so long.

He then thought that since subservience was not working he needed to move to the other end of the spectrum and adopt force and arrogance to make them see him for what he is. This boomeranged on him big time for obviously they were not amused to see their pride hurt although that may not have been his intention. He has now realised he has to think of another approach to win them over.

I think what will work is truth and sincerity. Beeji appreciates this more than anything else. Beeji needs to see him for what he is and surely she will love him for he is a mirror image of herself - righteous, loving and caring. Her biggest drawback is that she highly impatient, never giving the other person a chance to explain himself/herself. As a result she loses her cool and blasts the person when the person so does not deserve to be blasted. This is a trait Maan is too familiar with for he himself is like this and has only in recent months tried to change himself, thanks to Geet's love. So both Maan and Geet have to tread carefully and make her realise where she is going wrong without insulting her pride.


It is good to see Geet's resolution to take the initiative to set things right for after all she should know her family better than a rank outsider like Maan.
