M/G OS My Dream
Geet Khurana hit the snooze button as the alarm clock rang off, she opened half an eye to check the time, and they could afford to sleep in another 10 minutes. She turned to the other side and saw the handsome sleeping face of her husband: Maan Singh Khurana. Everyday it gave her joy just to wake up next to him. Her sleep had died off but she snuggled closer to hug him.
"Hmmm", Maan muttered in his sleep as he put his hand on her hipbone to pull her closer and buried his face in the crook her neck breathing evenly on her.
"Good morning Maan", she whispered as she lightly ran her fingers through his hair.
"Hmmm, good morning sweetheart", he said sleepily but he seemed awake when he started nuzzling his nose along her face.
"Come on, get up Maan or you will be late for your meeting.", she said as she nudged his arm.
She started to get out of his embrace when he suddenly pulled her back to his chest.
"What's this Misiti? Every morning you forget to give me my morning kiss.". She just blushed into his chest even after their five years of marriage and another five of their courtship.
"It's okay, I will remind you everyday.", he teased. Without a moment of hesitation, Maan leaned in to softly capture their lips together. She moaned quietly as her husband ravished her early in the morning. Half heartily she ended the kiss as she sat up. Maan followed and hugged her from the back.
" I think I will just stay in bed with you today..all day" he started kissing her bare shoulder exposed by her sleeveless lingerie as he hang his arms loosely around her waist.
She ran off the bed before Maan could seduce her fully.
"Maan, I am going to check on Muskaan, she should be up by now. And you better be in the washroom, she ordered but softened it with a fly kiss.
He caught it with his hand before he held to his heart and made her laugh. He always did this whenever she blew him a flying kiss.
He went into the washroom and she went to his closet to pick his outfit for the day. Once she picked the deep blue shirt with a black tie and pants, she brought it to the front of all the hangers and left it there.
I walked to the room next to ours, which was our two-year old princess Muskaan's room. Their princess had been the blessing from God when she came into the world after three years of trying. I remembered the months and months of treatment and then the nine months of doctors, Dadi ma and maan hovering over me but when I looked at my sleeping angel's face, I thought it had been worth it. I bent down and caressed her soft cheek and she stirred slightly. She then rubbed her eyes as she woke up. As soon as she saw me, she held her arms out with a smile.
"Good morning my princess", I said as I scooped her up and kissed her chubby cheek. She said hi back in her baby talk.
I held her by my hipbone as I took her back into our room. Maan came out of the shower with a towel around his waist and his hair-dripping wet. I couldn't help but drool over my husband even after five years of being married to him. I looked at the body i knew far too well just as he knew mine.
As soon as Maan saw his princess, that's all he saw. "Hey my princess is up.", he cooed as he took her into his arms. Muskaan brought her small hands to his cheeks to feel his stubble. Maan laughed as he rubbed her stubble over her cheek lightly drawing a giggle from her.
"You two seem to forget about me whenever you are together", I said as I placed my hand on my hip in mock anger.
Maan played along and put his hand over his mouth as if in shock, " oh no, mommy is all upset now Princess. What should we do now?", he asked deep in thought. " oh I got it, we will ask mommy to join in", he said as he placed Muskaan in my arms and hugged me from the back and kissed both our cheeks with equal love. Muskaan giggled to approve.
"Ok Muski let's go Dadi must be waiting for you", she said as it was daily routine for Dadi and Muski to play together while maan and geet got ready in the morning.
She walked downstairs to see Dadi sitting on the sofa reading the India Times. She smiled as soon as she saw them. "My baby is here", she said with a bright smile as she held out her arms out for her. Muski literally jumped into Dadi's waiting arms, and Geet bent to take Dadi's blessing.
"Bless you beta, ok, you go get ready now. I will give my Pari her bottle. She smiled and nodded before she made her way back upstairs.
I walked in to see Maan sitting with his laptop on the bed working on a project.
"Sorry I am back, let me grab your outfit.", I said as I ran to the closet.
He got up and walked to my closet to pull the outfit i knew he had already picked. It was a unique routine of ours; we always picked each other's outfit.
"You go first", I asked wanting to see my outfit first.
He pulled out a black business suit with a deep blue dress shirt to go with it. I grinned as I showed him my choice. He grinned in response as we exchanged hangers. It was one of those days where we matched.
Hand in hand, we made our way downstairs to see Dadi and Muski waiting at the dining table. Muski was dangling her legs in her high chair nibbling on a small piece of toast. We both bent down to take Dadi ma's blessings and then
We then walked to Muski to kiss her cheeks. She patted each of our cheeks back.
"Bless you my children, let's have breakfast before we two leave. And Geet beta, Muski already had breakfast so don't you worry.
As breakfast wrapped up, Maan and Geet picked their briefcases to head to Khurana Constructions. They walked over to hold Muski and said their goodbye.
"Okay baby, mommy will by noon", she said. Initially after Geet had Muskaan, she had decided to quit Khurana constructions to give her full attention to Muski but it had been Dadi Ma who suggested that Geet could work half a day; that way she could still be working and taking care of Muski too. Maan supported either way. So now Dadi watched her grand daughter in the morning and Geet took over in the afternoon.
The morning passed quickly with Maan and Geet working with their staff. Even when they were busy, whenever they would see one another they would smile. Maan touched her hair, her arm or her hand just like that, almost absentmindedly. But everyone knew the strong Maan and Geet shared for another.
At 11:30 am, Geet made her way to their cabin. Maan looked up and smiled as she came in.
"Going to head home?", he asked as he got up and walked to her desk.
"Ya, I think so. I am just going to grab a few files to study.", she said as she put the files in her briefcase and then tiptoed to give a light cheek on his cheek.
"Alright, I will see you at home. Love you"
"Love you too", she said as they hugged briefly.
I walked in to see Dadi ma and Muski playing on the floor with toys. Dadi picked Muski up as she saw me.
"Beta you are home, how was work?", she asked as Muski came into my arms.
"It was good. Why do you take a nap while I watch Muski."
She nodded at me and made her way upstairs. I gave Muski her bottle and then grabbed some lunch.
Soon Muski started yawning and rubbing her eyes, it was time for a nap, I decided I took her upstairs. She soon fell asleep. I changed my business attire for a simple pink salwar suit.
While Muski slept, I worked through most of my files, then checked on dinner menu and helped with dinner prep.
Soon Muski and Dadi woke up and we gave each other company. At 6:30 I made my way upstairs to change before maan got home. Settling for a light purple saree. I quickly got ready as I opened my hair and did a little makeup.
At 7:00, Maan came home. I took his briefcase from him as he kissed my forehead and hugged me
"Missed me?", I asked with a grin
"You bet", he winked and kissed my cheek. "You look beautiful but then you always do. But I can't stop myself from complimenting."
I smiled at his words; it was the same thing he said everyday no matter what I wore.
He made his way to Dadi ma and his princess to greet them before he went to freshen up.
Maan came back downstairs in casuals just as I finished setting the table. Just like breakfast, dinner was also family time.
With dinner wrapped up, Dadi retarded to bed. Maan picked up Muski and played with her I cleaned off the table with Nakul's help. It wasn't something I had to but it was something I liked doing. Muski fell asleep soon after. I made my way into our bedroom to see my handsome sitting on the bed with his laptop. He smiled when he saw me. I picked a pink nightie out to the closet and went to the washroom to change.
By the time I came back, he had put his laptop away and waiting for me. I slide into bed and right into his open arms. He ran his hands along my back and I snuggled closer.
"Hmmm, you tired?", he asked before he kissed my temple
"Nope, I spent with the people I love the most."
He leaned into give a light kiss on my lips and then ran his fingers through my hair. Soon my eyes closed and I fell into peaceful sleep.
I opened my eyes the next morning with tears in my eyes. I realized I had the same dream...again...
