to be fair to the indian makers, the english guys work on a season basis, so they get time to ideate, to plan, and to decide wad they want to do with their story.. here they work day in and day out, and with a channel like StarOne with shows airing 6 times a week its hard to do all and ensure quality ..

there might be people willing to work day in and day out, but how far would your body cooperate with you ? after all everything needs a break ... even a machine.. and we are humans .. if we have to show sensitivity on screen, we need to be sensitive towards our own selves .. and Indian Makers hardly get that kinda time for themselves..

most of the directors i have met are either spaced out or stressed... cos they are bogged down my pressures, targets, deadlines and the damn TRPS

Al...the other reason why the the director or the producers allow this to happen is that they have reached or in this case exceeded their original expectations from the show...but by viewer demands, or channel pressures...they cannot simply shut down the show!!

With regard to the first one, we have not become realistic. We are still in the dance around the trees, music and song at the oddest hour, even though we have the ultimate talents in acting, we still (and I hate it so much) copy other stories, other scenes etc. without any innovative or prioritised ideas of our own. We do have good investments within the production houses and the movies catch viewership in millions and trillions.

WIth the telly scene, I agree with the second Nags. But my point is, they have not planned consecutive story lines for the 'after one year'...they are taking fans for granted then, na???
