I was revisiting the old episodes... n happened to see the Pari entry leading to fake fiance track... why the hell is that level of passion missing is all I could think...
the track had the basic plot same... Geet adamant and Maan pursuasive... Maan knew what he wanted and Geet was trying her best not to relent and leave Maan...when the passion was sooo strong then and what were they doing then differently?... I didnt see any big thing other than a pursuasive hug, a few pulls and Maan walking like a stealthy and cautious leopard towards a deer named Geet... the passion was soo electrifying, the dialogues and actor's reactions soo charged like a moth being pulled by flame knowing its not the right thing yet it is law of nature... how come the reactions are a 100 times milder now? specially when both have come a long way from then... both have confessed loved and cherished each other...
They havent even hugged each other...remember Maan had hugged during the 100th episode even when Geet was resisting...that had the sexual tension, the electrifying passion, the much needed romance... why cant Maan as a husband pull his wife into a hug? all he does is hold her face... what yaa!! common... hugs toh hum frnds ko bhi dete hain... hold her from behind if u cant hug her saamne se! ... yeah the pulls have happened but isnt it 10 times damper than the pulls that were there during those office and fake fiance track time and I dont remember a single hug in a long long time... and I do not blame the actors or the characters...it is the "behind the scene" crew needs to do some homework really bad! They do show flashes of what can be a BOMBASTIC chemistry ( Geet confrontation with Maan when she comes to know Maan is Balwant) but then doesnt it get lost in more mundane things for no reason?? Kya yaar apne serial ke puarane episodes kyu nahi dekhte tum log? We used to hyperventilate with Geet and close our eyes like Maan (when during office days he used to try to control his inner feelings to pull geet towards him in a hug)
I understand Maan was wrong in his anger but he was hurt... Geet hasnt yet realised her fault of hurting Maan... a man who has forever kept her words n wishes ahead of his wishes, his principles even his life and folks...this was one of its kind opportunity... for CVs to bring back those hyperventilating moments back... but I feel its like the couple havent married but aged like 50 yrs... they dont even hug anymore... no sizzling romance at all...
I know tehy gonna show some hopefully nice scenes from Monday, but what about 3 weeks of amazing opportunities that they have missed... it cud have been that beeji cud have sent geet alone to meet some relative in the car and maan and geet could have shared some nice romantic sizzling moments... tab geet rooth jaati n maan usko haq se manaa leta but aisa kyu nahi hota???
cmmon ya CVs ... u still have time... show us some of ur brilliance coz we know barry is there nissar is there and you can make it happen... just coz swati,noel and pawandeep havent been there it cant be that you are all unaware of maan and geet's past passions!
PS: its not my attempt to bash anyone.. I just thought of sharing my thoughts... I had not made this post earlier coz I kept hoping the CVs would utilize this opportunity but now when Maaneet are going to patch up I thought I should probably go teh whole yard and share it with you guys...
