@Usha:Ya somewhere u r right..one always expects the fictional characters to behave in a way they want based on their own experiences in life🤔...so the moment the character behaves against their wish ,they feel she or he is wrong..

Even in Dev's case some r against the idea of Geet forgiving Dev because they feel it was rape while some r supporting Geet here for forgiving Dev because they feel it was not a rape and forgiveness will help her to move on without any strings attached to her past...

But noone is ready to see or believe what Geet wants or thinks about the whole situation...

Here I feel Geet neither considers it as rape nor has she forgiven Dev to cut off the strings of her past ...she has forgiven Dev only becuase he was MSK's brother and she felt that the only way she and MSK can start a new life together is by wiping off the shadows of her past and so only a quick forgiveness can serve this purpose...

I somewhere agree with you Jyoti. There are several aspects of the show that I started disliking which was the miscarriage and Geet forgiving Dev. But I did realise me and Geet are different, we went through something similar but we have different ways of handling situations.

But I still peuk at the moment when she let him put colour on her cheeks, maybe she didn't want to make a scene during a huge auspicious festival. And that is what irked Maan the most.

ya, that is why i feel it is to the CV's credit that they never showed geet thinking of dev as a rapist. Everything else yes, cheater, fraud etc for which he can be punished and he can be punished for rape if you decide to go the lawful way but in her mind, the demons she is fighting is not rape.

@Anvesha:Oye seeing u after a long time...🤗..I wanted to complain to u about Ash and her besharmi these days😆😳..

U r right the day when Geet allows Dev to put holi on her was a black day for sure and thats what agitated MSK the most which resulted in his huge outburst..but if one sees from a story POV,then that black moment itself triggers the whole climax point and the new track or else the story would hv never moved forward from there and Maaneet post MC would hv been still sulking mayb🤔

Also when I compare your life story with Geet's life story,I feel one big difference here was Dev ka connection or bond with MSK which might hv forced Geet to forgive her victim here🤔..I wonder if Geet hv ever forgiven Dev if he was not her husband's brother🤔..this is one important point which hardly anyone raises when it comes to this whole forgiveness chapter...would like to hear your views about it since u hv gone through it all and u can judge tihs situation better than anyone else I feel...
