Happy Anniversary Opti. It is very sad that you have to be away from you husband on this day, particularly since your guys have started showing each other with attention recently and hence I am sure it does not feel like 16 years. Do make it up to him as soon as you head back home, and in a way which will not leave him feeling insecure anymore 😛

Maaneet are my first. Ditto for me. I am going to complete 19 years of marriage this year and thank god i joined the forum because the busier my hubby is with work pressures, i have other safe so to speak addictions to keep me occupied. 😆

And now i am more addicted the forum than to geet. i log in everyday to read everybody's analysis and their passionate stances and positions of everybody.

Hope GC/DD will keep us glued to their chemistry even after maaneet has run its course.

My sons usually sing maahiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii as soon as it is 9.30 to signal me that geet is going to start. And I have to get up and go. If I give up my 9.30 pm rights, all the emotional blackmail i did to secure those rights would go waste. 😆 So now even for a cricket match, they just get up and go to the other TV but no arguments on Geet.

Usha, Jai-Bani of Kasam Se were my first addiction but then I wasn't so crazy then. The addiction did not last long because the story went the extra-marital route which is a strict no-no for me and hence gave up on the couple and the show. Then for a brief while I was hooked to Shiv-Gauri of Karam Apna Apna but then again the same extra-marital track put me off that show too. Then came Michi whom I was hooked on till the end although I cribbed a lot, especially after they introduced the special flavour track. I guess my real addiction to IF started with Michi and now has gone on to Maaneet.

Wow Opti! Sweet 16 years! Congratulations!🤗 My parents have been married for about 23 years and still going strong....I hope to receieve inspiriation from them when I get married. They have seen plenty of ups and downs with my granparents opposing the marriage. But they stuck to the guns and convinced everybody and thank god for that....because I would not have been born! Also, by reading your marriage story....me would like to have a similar one too! All the spices in it!😊 As for the gift, in the US, for the 16 wedding anniversary holloware(coffee pots and tea pots) are usually given. I have two questions to you.... how did you guys first meet and fall in love? If its too personal then you dont have to share it....😃 Also, do your FF's and OS mirror your real life situations and events sometimes?😊

Hey Opti...Wih you a very happy anniversary...I never ever had an inkling about you being married for sucha long time...I thought I was the only crazy female here who is married for 7 years and drools over maan...right not GC....Its so nice to know that you discuss tv shows with your hubby...I cant even do that coz I kow he hates them to the core...But he always know about my Loooveee for rajeev Khandelwal and thankfully doesnt complain about it but I sure cant go and tell him how unhappy I am with his wedding....😆😆😆😆

BTW I completed 7 yrs of wedding life on the 11th of April this year.....Another thing we have in common...😉
