I know Usha, AS wore what the PH gave because I dont think his own would have added anything more. SS may be more choosey and must have politely declined what the PH housed offered (that's my guess).

@ What he did afterwards was REPENT. Meera also helped him to face the reality of the mistake he has done. He accepted his mistake in front of everyone, in KC as well as to Maan. It was not very easy for him too. He could have easily denied having done anything.
