I agree with you. Dev has to be punished. Period.

Darji and Brij were wrong too (I do not approve these 2 also) . But you still can give reasons like they were bought in an environment where they were treated as supreme and women were downthroden. You can give arguments such as cultural set up or things like that.

But for what Dev has done, i do not think any culture, any where in the world would apporove of it(both legally and culturally). It is all the things you have said rape, deception etc. And he needs to be punished.

Usha, Im talking of GC's offscreen dresses although his onscreen ones aren't good either.

Priti, I got a picture of me sitting next to the European guy who was actually twice as old as me then. Seeing that my hubby heaved a sigh of relief and said "Oh, so he is an old man?" I told me "Dont get fooled by his looks. The guy is agile and energetic." That was enough to get him grumpy and jealous again! I must admit I really got a kick out of it.

@ Serial Watcher I also wiil not use a strong word as "Rapist" for Dev. If I remember correctly, he could not resist her and was attracted because of her innocence.

He did not know that she was pregnant initially. Only Naintara knew about it. He could have resisted her, but could not help himself.

Lily Sparkle: 😊 He can be accused of rape because he slept with her with the intention to leave her. The girl may not see that as rape because she slept with her husband, but if I am not wrong, case of rape can be filed against him.

But, I am all for Dev and Nandini track. It has more meat than MSK and Geet track at the moment.

but latha i don't think of him as a rapist and to the cv's credit they never portrayed geet as thinking of him as such.

he can be punished for cheating etc and all the trauma but that is for geet to decide.

but i have never considered him a rapist. she did fall in love with him and slept with him thinking of him as her husband.
