WHEN I FIGHT FOR JUSTICE I DO IR FEARLESSLY and Naddya and Shruti have reminded me to fight for justice.....I don't want a Miss POPULAR AWARD from IF but I WANT JUSTICE

true - i dont know the story. thats bcos i dont read FFs ...

I m assuming that u were asked to edit bcos content was on the bold side? i do know that IF has rules against that ... Jyo is just implemented rules designed by ppl way senior than her ...

i also remember friend of mine (who was an FF writer) saying once (she left IF a while back - and not for reasons u r leaving) that these rules against boldness etc cant really be implemented bcos 1. mods dont have time to read thru ALL the FFs and many mods dont even read FFs ... so they can only take action if a reader reports an update and LOYAL READERS of an FF or a writer never do that! So if u feel that some writer whose content was vulgar or explicit or bolder than urs or whatever than report it man .. otherwise mods wont know.

@Dilibadat and All - plz dont take my comments personally. this is the perspective of someone who has never read FFs. they r not my cup of tea .. hell i dont even read FFs of my friends ... and knowing how busy Jyo is dealing with virtual and real life, i bet she doesnt read FFs either ... so tell me how will she know which writer is breaking forum rules unless someone reports it?

**Mod's note**

Few things I want to make clear here...

First of all if there r any issues related to warnings or moderation,there is something called PM service which should b used instead of making MIDs and then opening posts to accuse the mods(We do IP checks...so we can find out who all r MID cases😊)

Secondly no warnings hv been given on any FFs in the recent past in Geet forum by Me...all FFs after 15 pages is transferred to FF-Section...so if warnings r given in that section,so then this matter should be dealt with the mods of FF-Section and not here..

Thirdly Mods really do not hv ample time to sit and go through the contents of 100 odd FFs to decide what is adult and what is not./..we do hv a real life and we r humans too....thats why we ask the members who read the FFs to come and report to the Mods if they find any FF offensive and the moment we get reports ,we take action if the report is valid...so if Offensive FFs r not reported in time by members of the forum..whose fault it is ??

Do members expect mods to sit 24hrs online and go through 200 FFs everyday ?,...no thats not possible...so its also the duty of the members to report the offensive/adult FFs and co-operate with the mods rather than always expecting the mods to come and take action ...we r dealing with several issues in the forum and not just FFs...so we too expect some responsibility and co-operation from btoh FF writers as well as members who read the FFs...

I don't want to discuss it further here..any other issue on this matter ..use PM service...feel free to PM me with the link if the warning was given in this Geet forum or else contact the mods of FF-forum who hv given the warning using PM service...

I know many ex-members of the Dev Team and all I can say is that politics and impartial behaviour most DEFINITELY exists. The mods keep reminding us in virtually every single topic that 'we are human too'. So if mods are human then it shouldn't come as a shock to you that not all of them have a neural point of view on every single controversial topic.😉

I know FF readers don't report explicit content because they like it 😛. first u dont report and then go and accuse mods of being partial 😆😆😆

I guess they r human and not all of them have a neutral point of view - i remember some fiascos from a padosi forum 🤣 (used to love stalking it 🤣) but same goes for the rest of forum members as well 😛 If mods close ur rivals topics they are the fairest people on planet but if they close your topics for breaking the same rules they suddenly become biased, prejudiced etc etc.

Btw why should I report a FF when I am above the legal age and can read these FF's freely? Maybe the content is too explicit for your innocent mind, but not mine so seeing as you seem to be reporting a lot of FF's, you keep doing your job and I'll do mine ok?

I'm glad you also admit that not all mods have a neutral point of view. I have so much respect for mods like Return To Hades who treat all members equally who despite being the moderator of one of the most controversial forums on the whole of IF (DMG and debate mansion) always manages to stay out of controversy and never portrays any biased behaviour towards any fan group. I have a lot less respect for other mods who blatantly prefer to let some members off with 'warnings' (if even that at times) where others are given a ban. What bothers me the most is half the time the dev team of this forum doesn't even bother replying back to PM's. Oh but of course, mods are human and are busy so why bother replying to PMs right?

If the mods need help, then they should ask for it because frankly I don't think only one person should be given the responsibility to moderate the most active forum on India-Forums. At least if there are another 2/3 active members of the dev team then things might be a little more FAIR! I'm hoping Geet forum gets assigned a new set of viewbies soon (viewbies that are actually active on the forum).

Maybe I would understand what you're trying to say if mods ever did close my 'rival topics' (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean😆). Oh well, I guess I'm used to seeing 'mods are human' as a closing note on every topic now that it doesn't bother me as much now.😛 Initially, it came as such a surprise to me though. I mean can you believe MODS ARE HUMAN!😲I'm so glad the mods keep repeating themselves in virtually ever singly topic and letting us know that they're human or otherwise we would have mistaken them to be from another planet maybe.
