the union of tej and pammi is placed as a reflection of a marriage based on society standards...yet the union of maan and geet breaks all the molds...though they might resemble the other in a few ways....the dominant male figure...moody and attitudy...and then there is the female figure....bubbly and talkative....but that is it...then there is the part where the mirror doesn't reflect the image back the same...while pammi stays...geet has left...yet there is nothing wrong with any of there choices...for it is to their liking to reflect the image or to break the mold...

I guess its according to the social and cultural norms and their surroundings.. Besides no two people react same to similar situations. 😊

exactly...i really like how they are showing a traditional marriage that is around the same age of geet and maan...it helps us to see what it could have been like...and help us to decide if that is how we want maan and geet to behave in their marriage or not...

That's exactly the way I thought of it as well :)
Perhaps they are deliberately trying to show us that Maaneet share a totally different relationship that is not the norm in their society .. both the couples may learn a thing or to from each other as well ..
I would like to see some affection towards TeMmi as well .. but I guess we'll have to wait and see..
And by showing their relationship as the lion and the sheep ... they're showing us the norm in some families -- where they man may be all doting towards his sister .. and care for them like they were their own children (even if it is in a strict manner) but towards their own wives they may not be the same. I've seen it happen many times.. so I was glad to see some reality..
but hopefully by the end .. they do learn a thing or two .. and become more affectionate towards each other :)

Hi sergeant...i'm glad u made a post on relationship...u know what...when i watched yesterday episode...i was thinking who the hell is he to tell Maan that he has no right on Geet and make accusation on Maan's family....look at the way he or his family is behaving with his wife...no respect...relationship is not about being together under the same roof....there r many woman who live with their husband but have no respect or love...Maaneet can be seperated but they r one soul...I think the MU is not between the couple who is seperated but between the couple who is together and ur post described it very well
