You can't take 'words' back any more than you can take 'actions' back.
Hurt by her action he hurt her with his words. Words that were once hers as was the pain.
'Blood, Honor & Self respect' she had questioned his infront of his staff, his board, media & the world when she refused to marry him for being Dev's kin & who she accused for forgiving Dev knowing she could never ever do.
And now he mirrored her.
He asked her the same question in his own words 'How could you forgive him knowing I can't, How could your self respect allow you to let him touch you & not cringe?'
Not blood but Fire had been coursing through his veins from the day in the locked conference room he had heard her heart wrenching past & known of the li'l life in her womb.
Since he heard her think of herself as tainted not fit to be loved by him coz her body & soul had been violated.
More ever since he had known that the faceless man he hated is none other than his own brother.
And ever since Dev entered their life yet again when they were making a blissful beginning.
He had promised her & himself he could never let her past haunt or hurt her again.
A promise he lived upto when he broke all ties with his own brother, showed him door, turned him from a Khurana heir to a nobody living on mercy of his friends.
Dev was left unpunished by law but Maan Singh Khurana never forgave him for his sins.
But his Geet did, he heard her forgive him & that shattered him to his core.
Geet who wanted justice so that no women ever suffers her plight,his Geet now forgave her sinner & acknowledged his presence in their life now.
Thats most funny thing happened in this show....She conveyed right message to all women out there...dear why you waste your time in punishing culprit....because that's goes against all dialogues she said about new future , new dawn. Its not easy to fight for justice and your past haunts you until justice done so is that means if girl is wronged and she should be mumb and quiet not fight for any justice anymore..........
What was hers to say, to explain he heard Dev recite it to him as Geet again had left him.
He knew she had misunderstood him, taken his anger & words on face value & not seen his hurt & pain in them.
Whats new in it....Its regular trend here from GEET
But he had never feared of her leaving him coz he never left her when she had hurt him with the same.
Love for her that filled his heart & mind melted away the rage & wrath.
He hated himself for that one moment when he hurt her & his mind blocked all the memories of his own hurt.
Did not matter that Geet forgave a sinner & failed to forgive his bitter words.
Did not matter she welcomed Dev as family & walked out of their marriage.
Nor did it matter that by doing all this she had drowned him in pool of miseries, left him broken knowing that it were her sufferings he was voicing when he questioned her.
It no longer mattered that she owed him an explanation for her actions, an apology for having hurt him, for not understanding him & for leaving him.
Only thing that mattered to him now is 'she is hurt',
hurt by his words. And for that he wanted to apologize.
thats what is called true love...you love someone else you cant see your lvoed one in pain....Love is selfless and above their pain you dont feel your pain......When felt same for geet why not geet...why she couldnt see.....him dying without her...Is her pain that big that she was totally blinded by her ego.....Dont know why I always true self less love from Maan side.........Geet love from too many donts dos......You miss one You did blunder........what all you did for her after that not make any difference after that.............Its like zero....
everything multiplied by zero goes to zero.....so 1 mistake and all good things multiplied by zero and you are left with nothing....just zero....
Her faith was strong in Babaji & his in hers.
He cried to Babaji for one chance, he needed to see her, see her safe. He needed to talk to her to apologize to bring her back.
If 'Love is the every only God' how could his plea go unheard & he got his answer & left in quest of his sunshine that now having left him in darkness was punishing them both.
His quest, his journey that comes close to closure when he sees a glimpse of her after having suffered through tears, heavy heart, blank mind & sore muscles.
As a reward of his trek he drank the sight of her, she was right infront of him.
As she had parted with one word on her lips 'Maan' he met her with the rest of it that when taken together complete them both 'Geet'.
She looked at him as if in trance, holding her captive in his compelling eyes he touches her to make sure his thirst to see her has not blinded him with a oasis that will kill him if it disappears.
She neither dint move nor fade away, she was there looking at him dazzled by his sudden appearance.
'I found You'.
He breathed now & overwhelmed by his emotions that filled his soul he smiled & tears flowed through his eyes as he silently thanked Babaji for having restored his faith.
His trance was broken & his heart freezed when he saw her move his hand away from her face & herself drift away from him.
'You have lost Me.' she coldly said as not the warmth of his love, this moment of but only his harsh words filled her mind & reminded her of her pain.
These 2 lines are best depiction of love from their side by you.......for one finding other was all that's important love above all self respect , ego work....EVEN life.........
For other love always failed to some half baked conversation, misunderstanding, and even ego,
'No! I wont let You go away from Me ' he cried.
He tried holding her back with all his love, all his pain & all his regret for that one moment that now has weighed to her more than all the loving memories that he had given her, all her dreams that he had made come to life & all the hopes of a life together.
'Punish me for my anger, for my words but end this suffering I cannot live without You, My life is incomplete without You & for Us You have to forgive Me' no way on this earth he could let her her go away now.
'It was not Your anger, nor words alone I know You meant it, I know you had it in Your mind all this while'
Shocked by her words he looked at her in disbelieve, silenced again by her lack of trust & understanding of his unsaid emotions.
Fear of which had made him earlier when she had questioned his 'Self respect, Honor & Blood' & later on realization of her own mistakes had come to apologize he had stopped her & asked her 'Can You forgive Me for being Dev's brother? Or will I always remind You that he had broken Your trust & hence I too will walk same path?'
Biggest disappointment was this....she realized her mistake ask for sorry he forgave her rather gave her full support for 18 year poor girl horrible past.....But darling 18 year girl with horrible past doesn't get right to abuse or question love of guy who stood by her in all her lows some infinite times.
He had then let her free to decide & she had come to him at her own will.
But today her not feeling his pain, his fear & only recalling her own hurt at his words made him plead her to understand
'I'm sorry for what I said .It was My anger & mistrust in Dev that made me say that, it was my anger for Your sufferings not towards You. I love You, still You think I meant it?'
He tried hard to make her see his point how can she be so blind to his pain & only see his anger ... how can she ever have loved him, loves him but fail to understand him ? How can she take his words on face value & not take into account the emotions they hold in them?
'Your anger burned Our love. I'll never ever forgive You nor will I return back to You'
Then Geet darling your love was not strong enough that it got burnt by one self respect line.....whereas Maan faced same situation and faced media mockery of self respect in front of whole world, office , board members. Agree he was angry initially too but she did 10 time worst than him...........Still his love was intact not burned by her deeds......
He had the day for the first time when voiced his emotions for her, he had given her all the right to decide for them & today again alone she decided their destiny & left him.
She forgave Dev his sins for their new beginning but could not forgive his words that were not meant.
She loves him hence his words hurt her beyond repair he knew but as the harsh words coming from him affected her why dint she feel his pain too.
As he was moved with the thought of her pain dint she feel his heart break, his fears when he had said those words to her, or the torment he went through in reaching her.
She could afford to lose him for forever but not not give themselves another chance that he deserved.
Wanting to lose his senses to all the pain that love brought him he let her walk away from him for forever.
'Lost in the vast abysses of space and time' he sees his only beacon of light & hope Geet fading away from him as he walks away from her tormenting himself seeking punishment from the Lord that she denied him.
To him who holds love above everything, his pride, his self respect, his principles, above Lord itself.
Lord did not close his door to him, all he wished for now having lost his reason to breath is pain, pain that he gave to her, pain that he has been suffering & pain that now her denial has given him.
To sooth it he craved for more pain that could numb his senses & bring peace to her heart.
We walked the broiling coals silently praying for her pains to go away be it at cost of his pain.
He burned his soul upon the altar willing for punishment.
As his soul scorched God who sees all & sets the balance right bleed her feet & made her wince in fear that she alone knew of having pushed him in darkness for life.
Pulled by the tug of pain screeching in his heart she had nothing left but to pray.
I have my interpretation for this scene probaly not good one still writing here....whever he will punish himself for the mistake Geet did....God will punish actual culprit too........and she will bear pain too...as god will punish her for insulting his true love.
