U guys remember when she came to outhouse, MSK said so many things to her when they argued over the water bottle, he said yah these things run in her blood and he felt bad, she said to him, wow someone can say bitter things its u, do teach me too! MSK felt like dirt at that point! He's always blurted out things in anger and this time she told him ur the rage of ur anger has burnt my heart! It pierced MSK to pieces!

Absolutely.. woman's dignity has to be honored... yea we are human beings and can be right or wrong in our views but moral values and dignity are the gem for any woman and it has to be honored.

Even at the time of their wedding Brij came to kill her and in front of all the wedding guest called her characterless and a tramp but it did not bother her. instead she challanged him and told in front of all that yes she is going to be a mom and is proud of it becasue she has her Maan with her and he gave her right to be happy and to have a new life..

But when MSK himself thougth that she was begairat then it just sucked the life out of her and she became lifeless now she cannot respond to love or any plea from MSK himself... as she does not feel anything except hurt.

Even when the photoframe of MSK fell on the ground she just lifelessly picked it up and caressed his picture automatically but there was no life in that but if you recall the same incident just before the Nizamuddin Dargha scene she was running like crazy after him all the way to Nizamuddin and realised there that it effected her so much because she loved him.

now she is empty of all and needs to be filled up by Maan's love. She needs to feel that pain without his presence but now she just feels void cause she has no life..

She prays for him that babaji be with him but still it is automatic there is no passion in that..

She need to be worried and impatient and disturbed and distressed and anxious for him but all those emotions are burried inside the hurt so what ever she may feel only hurt surfaces and unless that goes all other emotions are not going to surface..

so let' see how MSK will take away that hurt and bring his lively bubbly Geet back

Geetu omg wonderful mindblowing post. At first i was also pissed at Geet but thanks to ninand and evasumi my POV changed. The way you exeasilyplained makes so much sense. I would refer to Kabhi Khusi KAbhi Gam over here when SRK says to KAjol " kissi paraye ko apna kar ke phir se paraya kar dena...is ka dard tum nahi samjo gi"...these dialogues apply here. Maan gave all respect to her eventhough she kept saying im not pure etc etc but in a sec said completely opposite to her, cursing her blood and questioning her self respect was toooooo much. Geet is doing right by not forgiving him

Maan is known to say a lot of things in his anger which he really does not mean. But that is no excuse for him to be forgiven. That is what it is said - Words once spoken can never be taken back. This time, he deserves the punishment that is being meted to him.

Like many have said earlier, her self-respect is what kept her going in life. She is not one who consciously does anything to hurt anyone and has always believed in simply values - simplicity, forgiveness, finding happiness in small things, not holding grudge for too long, belief, nonviolence. Maan not only questioned her self-respect but also suggested a change in her, he wanted her to give up a lot of her values that she believed in when he questioned her judgement. I can understand why she is hurt.

I also appreciate Maan's determination to have his Geet back. He was a man who never apologized and always prided in doing the right thing. But now, when he knows he made a mistake, he is willing to move heaven and earth to bring her back. I hope he succeeds.
