If someone has concerns, they have the right to bring it up. That doesn't make them petty, it makes them brave enough to voice unfair behavior. You gain self-respect by calling people out because you are not afraid to stand up for yourself. Her concerns are valid and since this is a PUBLIC forum...she has the right to question the mods. I don't see why you have such a big problem with it. It is true respect cannot be demanded...as you said...but here, she is not DEMANDING respect...she is DEMANDING equality and fairness to all FF writers. Not for some to play favoritism. Frankly, your comment was rude. You could have voiced your opposition in a softer way.
