Would have preferred a little more urgency in Maan to seek out Geet. He listens to Dev's bhashans, then goes slowly to meet Dadi and leisurely sits by her side and inquires about her health and when she tells him to bring back Geet he agrees to do so, as though it was more for Dadi's sake than his own. Didn't like that sequence at all. Would have preferred to have seen him rush to Dadi and admit he made a mistake and that he will go after Geet, returning only with her.
Geet seemed very reluctant to leave Maan behind. We saw how slow she was in leaving K House. It appeared that she was waiting for him to come rushing to her, telling her that he did not mean the words he uttered and that they were only spoken in anger and reflected nothing of what he felt for her. Even today at the gurdwara she got in to that bus to Amritsar very reluctantly. Leaving the house was one thing but leaving the city was quite another. I felt she was desperately hoping that Maan would come after her.
When they meet I don't want Geet to give attitude. She may do so maybe for a few minutes to vent her disappointment in him but I do not want to see her make him sweat for her forgiveness, especially when he admits that he should not have said what he did and begs her to forgive him. Why? Because she has forgiven far bigger sinners like Darji and Dev only because they apologised. So why should Maan be punished more than those two who did what they did with a clear mind and a calculated move? After all the poor guy was muddled in his thoughts, he was grieving for the loss of his child and feared losing his Geet too. His insecurities were at their peak when he reacted. So whatever he said in the heat of the moment should not be held against him. She should try to see things from his perspective too and admit that she too had wronged him not giving enough importance to his sensitivities.
