If he wanted to get his luggage, then why did he travel till dhaba? he should have gone to KM to get luggage at first place?
His jeep broke down at the dhaba. Or he would have followed the road upto wherever it led him. Ideally, his jeep should have contained his camping kit. And, I'm sure he could just buy the stuff that he needs. I cannot understand why he would have to go back to KM to pick up his stuff. Maybe he thought that he would find Geet at the first dhaba on the way to Amritsar. He knows that his gal loves dhabas and loves roadside food. Proven wrong, he probably heads back. I can't think of any other reason.

About jeep getting in trouble, why cannot he not board the bus?
There were two buses ... he does not know which one she was in, or whether she got into either of them.

each side has 11 players, they toss a coin and the winner gets to decide if they will bat or bowl first, you get 50 overs to bat, so basically you want to score as many runs as you can whilst the other side try to bowl you out and then the other team tries to chase whatever score you got
