It was a famous talk show in Tamil. Its title is Neeya Naana [You or me] The host was the famous Gopinath. The debate on that particular day was people going to extreme levels when they are in love. Slowly the show became more and more interesting. Then Gopi asked the people there 'what will you do for your love? Utmost what can you do for your love? Lets know about the height of your love.'A woman said,'Ours is an arranged marriage. At first I was not in that much love with my husband. But when I came to know how much my husband loves me from one certain instance,he became my very life itself. My love for him is such that if there is a need arise to lose my virtue to save my husband,I'm ready to do it.' Hearing it from a woman I was really shocked. What a wierd answer that to be given in a reality show! Is she sane? Is it not chastity that has to be considered more than life itself? At first I couldn't think clearly. Then when I slowly came out of my shock,

i remembered the famous saying 'Everything is fair in love and war' Love is such a wonderful thing which makes you to do strange things. It can make you live for it. It can make you die for it. It can make you sacrifice anything for it. Is GHSP not about the unconditional love of Maaneet? Maan's love for Geet made him accept her pregnent with anothers mans baby. Is it not a strange thing? But his great love for her made him to do so. Is it not Geet the one who loved her baby more than her life itself? Do you remember what she said to Maan? 'Maan. as a woman the first feeling i sensed is that i am a mother. So when a question arises between mine and our baby's life, promise me that you will save our baby.' The same Geet couldn't think about the baby even for a second when she came to know that her Maan's life is in some kind of danger which led to her miscarriage. [i know some of our friends may mock at me when did Geet think of her baby? con

She always ran and fell. Yes i know. But we all accepted she loved her baby na?] The same love for her Maan made her forgive Dev coz he saved her Maan's life. Do you think that otherwise she would have given atleast a glance at Dev? NO,NEVER. In some posts some of our friends asked how come she know that Dev really became a good person so that she can forgive him? Certainly she must have known about that. Dev could have refused to save Maans life when she pleaded him. He could have refused to give the blood to Maan when he was nearly to die. If he had let Maan to die, in the absense of Vicky!? he would have got a chance to grab the property of Khurana family. There was a chance for Dev to do so. After all Maan was the one who sent him to the jail na. But Dev didnt do so. So Geet must be certain that Dev is really repenting for his sins. So now Geets love for Maan is greater than her hatred for Dev. Her love for Maan reached such a height that she can forgive Dev, the sinner.

Geet allowing Dev to apply the color on her face and she putting the tilak on his forehead is the part of her forgiveness. I know very well that Barry didnt write that part and CVs mustnt have thought about all these things when they have taken that scene. They might have just wanted a strong reason for the MU track [so that they can make us wait for Maaneets SR some more time
😆] so that they inserted the holi scene. [B]But all i ask is when in real life a woman says that she is ready to lose her chastity to save her husband out of her love for him [god dont give that pain for her ever]why cant Geet forgive Dev whole heartedly when he is the one who saved her Maan. Is Maan not her the very life itself? If Maaneets unconditional love is the one which made you fell in love with GHSP,please understand that the very same love of Geet made her forgive Dev whole heartedly. Sorry for this very long post but bashing the character of Geet is also in full swing in our forum.

Chelsea,
I hope you would have read a wonderful post by opti on forgiveness. Here is the link.
Sadly, people have still not come to terms with Geet forgiving Dev. This forum has got divided into two groups. Maan Vs Geet. Maan does a mistake, bash Geet for instigating him. Geet does a mistake, still blame her. My POV is more or less similar to you. In this scenario both Geet and Maan have only expressed their neck deep love for each other, only in their own way. Geet forgives Dev in a hope that he would stop repenting and their by interfering in her life with Maan. Maan suspects Dev's intention in order to keep Geet away from him whom he still doesn't trust would have redeemed after the heinous crime he had committed only a few months back. According to him, one who has conscience would not have committed such a crime and if he has committed such a crime then it simply means that he cannot have conscience left in him. He doesn't want Geet to be harmed again because of her innocence. Even yesterday, he was only ranting that Geet is not able to see the real intentions of Dev and not once did he suspect her integrity. But all that this man lacks is patience and control over his anger which when erupts takes unacceptable verbal form. We need to wait and watch how they are going solve this among themselves. Maaneet are an inseperable unit, when they trust in their love so much, why should we divide among ourselves and wage verbal war?

@ viji79 you are absolutely right viji. Both Maan and Geet are right in their own way. Maan wants to protect Geet from Dev doubting his intentions. But i dont know why people think that Maans ranting calls for a celebration. I felt very sad when i saw some of the posts bashing Geet. Last time it was Maan who got the bashing When he mentioned talking about their own baby and this time its Geet. Why people take sides i dont know. We love both our Maaneet na. Thanks viji i feel somewhat better now. I will certainly read Optis post dear. Thank you so much.
