Good afternoon, good morning, and good day & night to you all !
I'm hear to tell you all a short story. Perhaps this post may be of some relevance to you, perhaps you may be able to empathize with it, or overlook it, or just downright classify me as psychotic weirdo. Up to you. Actually, scratch that! A more prettier word other than weirdo would be unique. So yeah.. Call me unique!
Once upon a time, there was a newly established forum. Within this forum, consisted of several new members whom ardently desired to watch the new show called 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi'. Specific people were shy, a tad awkward, and eager to gain acceptance and form friendships with other members of the forum. However as the serial commenced, we all blossomed from being mere acquaintances into a vast multicultural family. WE loved the character of Geet, for her beauty, her innocence, and her heart enriched with gold. Upon the introduction of Maan Singh Khurana, the entire forum went into a craze. Not only were hospital wards opened, with hundreds of girls begging to either be a nurse, or patient, so long as Maan was in close proximity to them, But I believe we were also the first forum that actually caught life threatening diseases (Malaria, Maan Fever, Pneumonia, Hand Fetish Disorder, Heart attack, Diabetes etc) and still managed to survive them all !
Every Maaneet episode, there would be 'OMG' threads as members gushed and ranted about the hotness of the couple. We would applaud the creative's for providing us with such amazingly sizzling episodes. Hilarious and light hearted threads would be opened, as we all communally participated in fun games and comedic postings. If something serious would occur, members induced themselves in healthy debates, that would never cross the limits of violating one's beliefs, opinions and characterizations.
Popularity poles (to our constant horror) would be formed. And like little psycho's, we would constantly try to vote our favourite couple/character up, so that us Maanetians could win ! And don't DENY it, some of you actually tried to decrease the votes for other shows (LMFAO! MEH as long as we win, who gives a damn about playing fair. As the quotation goes: All if fair in love and war). Do you think they won because of YOU individually? Was it only YOUR contribution that led to Maaneet's victory? I think not. WE, as a family that BELONGED to a forum, voted and voted. When we did eventually win, WE celebrated together, not YOU or ME. WE.
How could I forget the golden moment when the character of 'Samira' ( I repeat NOT SAMEERA) was initially mentioned. There was an uproar within every contour of the forum. Predictions, foreshadowing, and several posts were created on the very same day. To my utter horror, members had predicted that Samira was Maan's mother. Which not only caused me to have a heart attack, but made me rethink my mentally constructed relationship with Maan. BUT nevertheless, we shared our fears together, we pacified and soothed away other's worries and tried earnestly to be positive about the future track. We took the news like MATURE people. Which is why, Geet forum could easily be classified as the most friendliest, funniest, and most beautiful forum ever to have existed.
We were the only forum that received the most outrageous rumours! LMAO. 😆😆Every character's death was predicted, surprisingly it was always the youngsters whom were dying and not Dadi herself. (JOKES! Haha don't kill me).
Apart from all those positive aspects, we also have one of the best moderators – whom seriously should be applauded for their hard work and efforts. Trust me. Be thankful for the lovely mods that we have, for not only are they empathetic, but also very down to earth and sweet individuals.
Don't you miss the way our forum used to be? If outsiders would barge in, regardless of our differences, we would join together in unity and fight off all the haters. We defended each other and our show, and disallowed anyone to point a finger at us. WE were protecting OUR home. But now, we are all destroying the year's worth of effort, each and every member contributed in trying to establish a sweet natured and welcoming environment for us all. Within the forum, members are pointing fingers at one another, abusing and depriving individual's of their right and freedom to express their opinions. It's as if, the moment Geet's baby died, we too, as a family perished. Do you want this division? Do you feel satisfaction when you slowly watch a friendly forum turn into a war zone? Day by day, members are slowly leaving the forum because they cannot take how rude and negative some individuals can be. I for one, have stopped visiting the forum daily because I cannot stand the negativity that is spreading throughout the forum like a disease ! Suddenly, 'bashing' has become the new theme.
It's become a sport to bash Geet one day, then Bash Maan the next day. The actual culprit (DEV) is receiving nothing but idle complaints. The actual sinner is being overlooked, whilst the victims (Maan and Geet) is constantly being bashed. Do not forget, that this couple is the main reason why we have remained faithful viewers of the show. This is the VERY same couple that caused our heart beats to quicken, and contributed in our failing grades. For this couple, we would day dream in class and work, eager to see what the next episode will bring. For this couple, we would PRAY that our Boss would be just like Maan, and he would in turn fall in love with us replica Geet's. Due to this couple, we formed friendships with one another. How could you forget that? Did that thought not cross your mind when you openly degraded each and every character and actor?
It disgusts me, seeing the monstrous side of this forum. It's a shame to say, that we also have little Naintara's running around the forum, trying to deteriorate it's essence, by filling it with complaints and hatred. If you don't want to watch the downfall of our forum, then be the mature one and step up ! Fight for this forum, try to keep it clean and friendly. I want this forum to be altered back to what it used to be ORIGINALLY. Bring back the lively essence of this forum. Bring back the friendships we used to share. Bring me back the home I used to spend hours of my time residing in. Bring me back the family I used to cherish and love, for their positivity and great sense of humour.
Bring me back the original and cherished 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi' forum. It's not a demand, but a heartfelt request.
As I conclude with this post. I'd like to thank every member whom has striven to maintain order within the forum. And most importantly, I'd like to thank the mods with the bottom of my heart, for their hard work and kindness. My applauds to you all.
PS. Thanks to the negativity, I've actually written a SERIOUS post. No humour or jokes intended. At all.
