So much in the name of justice ....

seriousli this is gettin too much- ppl are acting oblivious to the real reason of recent changes to the storyline😕 we all knw full well why this recent changes have occured- so stop acting lik geet is at fault wen clearly thats not the case- and maybe u guys can carry on hating someone for the rest of ur lives bt the reality of the situation is -there comes a time wen u need to just foget the past and move on- everything happens for a reason- and perhaps the only way for geet to move forward was by burying her past and she did just that :(-

she is in a good position now so she is forgiving him......y didnt she forgive him when he said sorry on der engagement day????? tabhi bhi he was repenting......y she wanted him to b punished......dis is not a good example......m talking in general......mahan logon ka mujhe pata nahi.......

my dear it is time.............at the time of engagement.......her wounds of betrayal were fresh......she was in agony. Now the scenario is totally different. Her wounds healed due to maan and his love. At the time of First MU also she was ready to go to any extent to get dev punished. But for a woman everything changes once she gets married. She will become so conscious about her family that she will try her level best to make her husband and children far from all miseries and sorrows. Now geet is married. For her, her love ie., maan is very important right now more than anything in the world. Now she don't want to have any grudge against anyone which may haunt her family in future. At the time of engagement she didn't allow dev to talk properly, but now she can see his remorses. Inorder to ease herself from this grudge she forgave him.

Hinduism

The concept of performing atonement from one's wrongdoing (Prayaschitta ' Sanskrit: Penance), and asking for forgiveness is very much a part of the practice of Hinduism. Prayashitta is related to the law of Karma. Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The effects of those deeds and these deeds actively create present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain in others.

Addressing Dhritarashtra, Vidura said: "There is one only defect in forgiving persons, and not another; that defect is that people take a forgiving person to be weak. That defect, however, should not be taken into consideration, for forgiveness is a great power .

forgiveness is a virtue of the weak AND AN ORNAMENT OF THE STRONG . Forgiveness subdues (all) in this world; what is there that forgiveness cannot achieve? What can a wicked person do unto him who carries the sabre of forgiveness in his hand? Fire falling on the grassless ground is extinguished of itself. And unforgiving individual defiles himself with many enormities. Righteousness is the one highest good; and forgiveness is the one supreme peace; knowledge is one supreme contentment; and benevolence, one sole happiness." (From the Mahabharata, Udyoga Parva Section XXXIII, Translated by Sri Kisari Mohan Ganguli).

An even more authoritative statement about forgiveness is espoused by Krishna, who is considered to be an incarnation (avatar) of Vishnu by Hindus. Krishna said in the Gita that forgiveness is one of the characteristics of one born for a divine state. It is noteworthy that he distinguishes those good traits from those he considered to be demoniac, such as pride, self-conceit and anger (Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 16, verse 3).

Village priests may open their temple ceremonies with the following beloved invocation:

O Lord, forgive three sins that are due to my human limitations: Thou art everywhere, but I worship you here; Thou art without form, but I worship you in these forms; Thou needest no praise, yet I offer you these prayers and salutations, Lord, forgive three sins that are due to my human limitations.😃

AVI JI, MUJHE LAGTA HAI KE ITNA HI KAFI HAI....isme sab kuch hai😃 lambi kahani suhnane ki zarurat nehi ....😆

i guess u are indeed missing My point..i dint say that she does not consider Maan's feelings..i said she dint care for his opinion before forgiving Dev & if i'm not wrong she felt she needed it so she apologized to his pic....
