This incident happened in orissa some time back

A missionary along with his children came to india to preach about christ. He was there in orissa for sometime preaching the gospel. But the villagers in orissa didn't like that and they planned to kill him. One day they burnt him alive along with his children. He and his children were burnt to ashes. It was a shame to humanity. When his wife who is also a missionary came to know about this she came to india. Although govt. of India decided to get justice to her she simply rejected it and forgave them who are responsible for that incident.

If she can forgive them who are actually cruel than devils then geet forgiving dev is no way wrong in my POV.

And I have met that person when she visited US.. She is the most humblest person and even being an australian she wears simple salwar suit... She has sadness of lossing her whole family but she does not have a bitterness against a person who committed this horrible horrible crime. and till today is trying to bring peace in that area.. I could not stop sobbing when I heard her live testimony..
Yes forgiveness is much much better then bitterness and unforgiveness...
It is true that what you sow that you get... so the person who has committed crime against you is going to get what he has done... but at the same time if you keep bitterness than it means that you sow bitterness then you will get that too!!!!
So the cycle of bitterness has to stop otherwise it just does not cease to exist. We have seen through out the history of kings and Nawabs how the bitterness destroyed the kingdoms...
Some one has to break that cycle and why not you. You could stop that to go further and cut the cord of bitterness from your life and take the path of fortgiveness and peace and eventually happiness.. just my POV

@Sayna di.

I see you are not pointing me directly. And I think that's because we were friendly once and no matter what ever happens, we will remain.😃

Just wanted to say that, you can say whatever you like to. It's not like if we have talked once, I would feel bad if you told something wrong. 😊

So, concluding; you are free to say anything. I guess, you know that yourself. But, since I saw in all your posts you r pointing on me indirectly, so I thought why not assure you that you can say whatever you like to.😊

Off the topic of TM..........felt to write the truth what u wrote abt the Odisha Case.....coz I belong to the same state.......may be the wife of the dead missionary forgave the man but for ur kind info NOT the judiciary system of India.The man has been sentenced LIFETREM in jail.Right now he is behind the bar.So that cant be a case to be given equal status here.
