Before Geet misunderstood by hearing half conversation,now Maan misunderstands Geet ,seeing her with Dev.but how could Geet tolerate Dev,she could given him a tight slap.

Remember in the horshiapur days, Geet reminded Maan of his words that its better to think with the intelligence bestowed than raise the hand, just as Maan had reminded Geet of using dimakh before emotions.

So I think Geet did something that was eternal and fitting during that moment - the strength to confess to him about her and Maan's love and soul bonding. Rather than slap him. The words have the power to cut through the heart and the truth of it can hurt. Dev deserved that because he thought he was helping them to get together when Geet reminded him sternly that Geet and Maan never had any misunderstanding and they were as much in love as before and that they were just going through a difficult time in their lives.

That was the best to do in this situation.
