Al, I think Dev's crimes done in the past overshadow his present, so most of us are not able to sympathize with him now..
& Zz even though most people thought AS wasn't a great actor, I still liked him as the character of Dev. Don't get me wrong, I like Samir S. as well he does a great job, but I'm still actually waiting for him to turn negative!! 😆

Usually, in India, when we refer to "maliks' or 'owners'/'employers' to butlers, servants etc. we say to them 'chota saheb' or 'memsaheb' ke liya, as they are not referred to in name - to induce the respect from the servants, butlers etc.Yes, I have seen GEET HSP from day 1, and know that Dev's mother referred to 'chota saheb' when she wanted help from Maan for money....
