At the Diwali Ceremony .. he had said "I hate you" to Geet .. but at that time it was being directed at Geet and not him. Geet had instigated that MU by doubting him and misunderstanding his intentions. He may not have meant it .. but Geet at least knew that he would say something like this out of anger -- as he is affected by Geet. She had heard him say those words before out of anger after the Pregnancy revelation as well. But this time .. without thinking of here and there.. without giving a second thought to Geet .. he blurted something out of anger which he didn't realize would hurt her deeply. Because this time he meant it. And the last time he had said hatred words towards Geet .. he had not meant them .. and Geet knew that.

So I guess that is one way to explain that. She didn't mean MSK has changed as a whole .. even she doesn't believe that. She means he changed by letting his anger overtake every other feeling in his body.
