another really really nice epi....first let me say y i liked it so much...this is because though i am waiting for romance and intimacy....but these r the epis which actually heighten the quality of a show...story pregressed, awesome acting, taut script, gud direction and serious moments....
every character took a huge leap today....
lemme mention them one by one...
Maan- of course he will top my list 😉
he is still confused and hurt that things r unfolding in his own house but he is unaware of them...that his mind is elsewhere was proved wen he was searching for his nightsuit which was hanging rite in front of his eyes....
with a burdened mind he goes to bed and so obviously sleep is the last thing to happen....he keeps luking at geet to attempt to read watever is going on in her mind...
next morning he sees a letter stuck to his wardrobe....and he realises that geet has read his mind like an open book....of course he is not angry at geet but worried for her....he is worried that she is again getting surrounded by all the wrong ppl and his only concern is of her safety....
relieved by the understanding shown by geet...he sits down to reply to her letter....he expresses his helplessness and mentions that the anger he is feeling is for himself as he cannot do anything to protect her from the animal that is prowling in his own outhouse....
maan's eternal wish is to hold geet in his arms forever away from all the evil of this world....his disapppointment, his concern, his love for geet took the form of words in his letter....
he comes down to hv brkfast wen his phn rings...some anonymous voice expressed desire to speak to him about dev...but maan who is always honest and never hesitates to speak from the front abhors hide n seek...he disconnects....the last thing he wants to do is talk about dev...
next instant he gets a call from a client who must hv hidden some truth from him which got revealed to him later on....and he pours his wrath on the client....once again geet, dadi and annie cud see the true avatar of maan...the real maan who hates lies, deception and hidden truths....
and then he leaves for office leaving all the ladies of his house in a state of panic 😆
he reached office and his phn rings again which he disconnects on hearing the same voice....
next instant geet calls and maan not seeing the displayed number starts roaring till he hears geet's voice...
the anonymous caller calls again and this time mentions that he has something to say about his wife and dev...maan's anger flares as the caller disconnects....
he wonders to himself wat cud be between geet and dev that he doesnt know...not once does he suspect that geet mite be hiding something from him....
he concludes that dev is behind all this....
Geet- she can see the disheveled state of maan but cannot find a way to appease him....she sees maan looking for his suit which is right in front of his eyes...but says nothing except helping him find it....maan paused before taking...the silence that followed cud be read by each other....
maan cud see that geet is aware of his concern and that he is actually not angry...and geet cud feel maan's helplessness in not being able to control the situation....
as they lie down on the bed...each cud feel the restlessness of the other....and geet says sorry once again to which maan replied that she need not apologise...sleep was furthest thing in their minds as each was longing to find a way to reach out to heal the pain they r feeling....
next morning, geet cooks pasta for maan...following the usual way of reaching a man's heart thru his stomach....
there was a heavy silence which geet cudnt bear as she was agitated to know whether maan read her letter or not...she asks him and he nods....
the phn call from the client heightened the feeling of guilt in geet for hiding the truth....further delay wud only make matters worse and maan will lose his trust on her....she decides to tell maan everything....
she calls maan in office for a casual convo and again gets confronted with his anger...her tension heightens...
she reads maan's letter which only strengthens his resolution to talk to maan about dev....
and she goes to dadi to tell her of the decision to tell maan everything....
Dadi- she cud see the tension filled silence in the dining table between maneet...she gets concerned and realises for the first time that she was wrong in thinking that telling maan the truth will complicate matters...
and so wen geet comes and tells of her decision...dadi cud see the heavy load that geet is carrying in her mind...she rectifies her mistake and gives geet permission to talk to maan....
Annie- she cud also see the tension in the dining table and cud feel the storm brewing....she tries to lighten the ambience but fails...
next scene annie is shown with pinky and romeo...she tells them of dev's return and immediately romeo expresses his concern for maan....
employees' love and respect for maan r strongest assets in maan's life...
but annie tells them that dev is changed now because he did a gud deed by giving blood to maan...disgusting character this annie is....being a girl how can she call fake marriage, making a girl pregnant by fraud....things of past....
she actually has the guts to think that maan will forgive dev for this gesture....
Arjun- really guys for a moment i cudnt recognise him....he was looking like a devil reincarnation...
his initial plan was to sleep with annie and then expose her in front of maan and the entire word to spoil khurana khandaan...but since he actually loves annie...he cudnt make this plan take shape for fear of annie committing suicide....
but arjun was actually not sitting idle all this time....he was in fact waiting for the right moment...he was waiting to get hold of the Ace from a pack of cards....and now he got it....he learns wat dev did for maan...and obviously he must be planning to tell this to maan in his own version....the perfect opportunity to make maan break into million pieces...arjun is aware how proud maan is of his sense of righteousness....arjun now cant wait to see maan's reaction on knowing that he is carrying the devil's blood now....
i know guys its a long post....but i loved the epi to the core and wanted to analyse each character...for the first time i wrote so much on AA....only because i can see arjun's actual motive now....thankfully now we will get to see arjun dealing with maan directly widout involving annie...
some points to be mentioned....
1. maan was lying on the bed with his arms folded....this gesture implied that how tensed and restless he was feeling...no doubt he stayed awake the entire night...
2. the CVs made an error....maan had already told geet once that he does not like pasta anymore....of course because maan knows that pasta wud remind geet of dev....so, geet shudnt hv cooked pasta for maan....she cud hv cooked any other fav dish of maan...
3. i maybe wrong but i felt the profile of the caller was of rawal....there i go again....but it is just my feeling...dont take it seriously....
4. so, now before geet...it will be either the caller or arjun who will be telling maan the truth....and maan will feel betrayed by geet....
5. i mentioned that arjun loves annie....i am not forgiving him for wat he did to annie...but i am just saying despite his wicked intentions the actual fact is that he does love annie...but i will never want annie to forgive him or accept his love....
sorry again for the long post...it took me 2.5 hours to pen my thots down 😊
