Jyo, there were a lot of inconsistencies in the episodes aired last week. If you noticed, we have a scene where the major shareholder of Arjun's company announces that he will be selling his shares that afternoon. We see Maaneet and NES scenes in between which clearly indicate that the day was over and the next day starts and then you see Arjun going for the auction late to find that the auction is over and NES is the new boss.
The whole process by which NES becomes the majority stake holder is again a big mystery. Where did she get the money? If I remember right she was looking at a check drawn in favour of Arjun for Rs.10 lakhs and then remembering her conversation with Dadi about taking her pearls to Shimla? Did she manage to buy the company with Rs.10 lakhs and some pearls? And why is she still in Delhi and not in Shimla? Why is Dadi not asking her what is she doing here and why she is turning up late from work?
Who is managing KC? Half the staff seem to be doing wedding shopping for Annie and in a matter of a couple of days NES has become the talk of the business community.
Coming to Maaneet scenes, isn't it foolish to show them travelling in a truck when not so long ago the doctor warned Geet's life is in danger, so much so that they cannot even con? The bumps a truck can give is much more than the con activity. We did not even see Maan voice his concern over this at any time.
In K house, Maan had to go to another room to sleep because he couldn't keep his hands and eyes off his woman. In Shimla he has no problem sharing a bed with her. He is not even shown to have some self talks about how he is reigning in his passion. And wouldn't it be more natural to cuddle the person sleeping next to you especially in a place which is known to be cold. Yet all we get to see Maaneet do is sweetly hold hands.
Maaneet are on a honeymoon to Shimla and what do they do? Sit by the pool side and invite unsavoury and lustful gazes from some perverted gals and an unknown stalker. They go shopping and that too for chiffon sarees from Shimla. didn't know that Shimla was famours of chiffons. We see Geet wear it in a manner which will showcase her nice flat and fair tummy. All the efforts they took in giving the illusion of a pregnant Geet with the extra flairy kameezes were just wasted with that one scene.
Oh yes, Maaneet were cute in all these illogical scenes but dont tell me there was any consistency in what they showed us be it the Maaneet + Dev track or the NES-NEB + kiddo track.
One thing I can say they have been consistently inconsistent. And our comments try to keep pace with their consistently inconsistent storylines/scenes.
