Why are we ruling out Sammy. "Doosri Shadi mubharak ho, Geet" means "Congratulations on the second marriage, Geet" .
It could mean Maan's second marriage, couldn't it? The stranger is congratulating Geet on becoming his second wife. They could deliberately leave it ambiguous so that it could be taken both ways. The man could be Sammy's aid.

Even if it is Sammy, the second shaadi was in reference to Geet's 2nd shaadi only. Maan cannot be married earlier. He would have confessed it to Geet if that were true.

And the person only said doosri shaadi mubarak ho. Everyone in town knows about her 2nd wedding since she announced it in front of everyone. Anyone could have that news. Even Sammy or her aid.
